5 Monkeys is a tattoo shop that combines the best aspects of tattooing tradition with a keen eye for technological and stylistic advancements in the art while maintaining a deep respect for their clients and the stories their tattoos tell. It’s a shop where anyone can feel comfortable, from an 18 year old walking in for their first piece of body art to a seasoned breast cancer survivor looking to bring new beauty to some hard-earned scars. The owner, Tegan BeyerStadnyck, brings over two decades of tattooing experience to bear in her work; from the USVI to LA, Orlando to North Conway, her love of tattooing has taken her all over the world, tattooing in shops that served all walks of life, regular folks to rock stars and athletes.

I went to 5 Monkeys on 7/25/22 and had the most amazing experience. I went in for a new tattoo (picture shown) and a touch up of a previous tattoo I got from a different shop. The space is clean and comfortable. Tegan did an amazing job on my artwork. She tied it in to something personal to me and made thoughtful recommendations. I cannot brag about my experience with her enough. It was amazing!

Tegan did an amazing job on my tattoo, the photo does not do it justice – I am blown away by the design and so happy with it. When there was a bit of a mixup with scheduling, we were able to easily rework my appointment time and they went out of their way to make sure I got in the same day. The shop was clean and welcoming, I would recommend it not only for the gorgeous work that they do here but also for the environment and friendly people.
