Nellie is the best! I got Botox before my wedding this past June, and Nellie was absolutely phenomenal to work with. This was my first time getting Botox done, but Nellie made me feel comfortable every step of the way. She is very good at what she does. 10/10 highly recommend! A potentially very painful procedure, was practically painless with the time taken and the technique Nellie employs. I had the IPL lasar treatment as well as some Botox and fillers. Nellie performed the work and she was so sweet and comforting as I had never done this before. She really took her tine to explain everything in detail and it made me feel relaxed knowing I was in good hands. The office space is adorable and very relaxing. The staff was very welcoming and I was greeted with big smiles. I love this place and will definitely be telling all my friends about 424 Cosmetic Dermatology. I am sad to have to write this review but hopefully it can help someone realize what can happen when Botox goes wrong, after my third time getting Botox with Nellie I suffered from ptosis and now have to see my ophthalmologist, and according to Kaiser, possibly a neurologist for further evaluation. I received a Botox treatment to treat the 11s in my forehead on February 19, 2021. On March 4th, 2021, I literally woke up cross eyed! It was a serious moment of panic for me as I couldn’t even register the fact this could have been caused by the Botox until I jumped online. I called 424 Cosmetic Dermatology and they told me to come in that same day to be seen. When Nellie looked at my eye, she basically said, “Well we won’t do that again”. She told me the Botox must have migrated to the muscle that controls the eyelid and there was nothing I could do until the Botox wears off. I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated with what had happened and Nellie’s casual approach to the whole situation. I got some second opinions from other injectors and was told that I had a botched job and the Botox was not injected in the correct place. It was injected too close to the levator muscles and too many units for that area. I will never go back and am now suffering from anxiety as I don’t know if there are any long term effects of what happened to me or if my nerves were affected. Please be aware before going to see her. She has great reviews which is why I chose to see her but this is my real life experience I am so upset. I really wish my experience didn’t turn out this way.
