I’ve been here a few times, and had somewhat decent service. This past Sunday has proven otherwise. I went in for a pedicure, and wound up deciding on a gel manicure as well. Gel should last a while, right? Well, here we are on DAY 3, and both the gel manicure and my pedicure look awful. Lifting around the cuticles, and chipped polish on my feet. I went back to the shop to show them and hopefully recoup the $30, because it will cost me at least that much to have them taken off elsewhere, including tip. Nope! No refunds, just lots of insisting that I allow them to redo them even though I explained that this was for a special event and I didn’t have the time for them to screw up again. I especially appreciated when the lady up front started picking at the lifted areas. If there was ever a case for buyer beware, THIS IS IT. Apparently acrylic nails is all they can manage to do decently.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueAlthough the work is very nice the staff is rude. When you speak they do not speak back. Another thing is I wanted my nails a specific style for my ring and pinky finger and was ignored and the stylist did it how they wanted. To top everything off I was quoted a price of $53 and was charged $63 and when I asked the first time why the price has changed they said because my nails were long. My nails are not super long acrylics either so I mentioned it to them and then the answer to price changing became they had to take a previous set that they installed off.I have no problem paying for quality but I would like to know everything I am being charged with and any different price quotes. I have came here before and experienced something similar. I would not recommend any person of color to come in to this establishment because I do think there is a underlying prejudice here simply because I have seen them treat other ethnicities better. Positive: QualityI LOVE 3D NAILS!I just moved to the area a couple of years ago and had to go through the horrible task of re-establishing my “Beauty Go-To Network”. I went to several nail spas throughout HoCo (Howard County) and left unsatisfied… Until I discovered 3D Nails! I have received multiple services from multiple members of the staff and left their shop happy, every time.The Owner, Danny, and his wife, Amy, are genuine, honest and kind people who treat all of the customers like family.Nathan is my boo! I was a walk-in for a Princess Pedicure there is a description on the price sheet. The technician was very gentle and did an amazing job shaping up my toe nail which grew back. The environment is clean neat and I like the layout for the pedicure one big circle. They have spa packages so scrubs hand waxes etc. Good place. I was in and out.

This was my 1st time here, and I needed a fill and a fixing. The shop I had originally gone to, butchered my nails. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, and asked what I was looking to get. When I sat down with her, she was very concerned with who had done my nails originally. It made me feel good that she had pointed out the flaws in the job, after she mentioned each mistake, she told me why it happened and how she was going to fix it! I was only in there for 45 minutes, and this is the first time I’ve had a full set that I didn’t hurt! The prices are average if you ask me, and overall I will definitely be coming here from now on!

I was very disappointed with my experience here. I usually do my own pedicures and wanted my feet pampered. This was my first time at this salon . There was zero customer service. I was barely acknowledged when I entered and just instructed to pick a color. They did not care to know my name even though I called ahead and made an appointment giving my name. My technician spent most of time speaking in her native language to another who seemed to be the owner. As calls came through he kept using the word “honey” to address callers which is so unprofessional. My technician did not ask if I was comfortable..I am tall and usually need seating adjusted. I had to ask her to adjust the seat. I had originally came in for a $40 pedicure but changed my mind and got a cheaper one, when the vibe of this place became apparent. The customer next to me had to ask my tech to give her the correct change from her $50 at least twice. And she seemed to not get that she should really be apologetic. The one good thing she did was when she put the first coat of orange on my toes, and it was a dull pale orange unlike the bottle color, she took initiative and got another bottle with brighter color. She should have asked me, or given me the heads up when she did that but at that point I had low expectations and thanked her for changing because I would not have wanted dull orange. This was an overall an unpleasant service experience….I could not have felt more anonymous and ignored. I still left a tip but knew I would write a review and never go back. If you are just looking to get the job done I guess these issues may not worry you…my toes do look good. But if you are looking to have a pleasant experience, and be treated like a paying customer while you spend an hour in a nail salon, go elsewhere!
