38th Street Barbershop is Bethany’s classic old school men’s barbershop… Griffin’s Barbershop of Bethany (Griffin & McNutt) shut down their long established shop and excitedly joined 38th Street Barbershop. Four male barbers paired with a family friendly atmosphere, we are able to make boys from 4 to 94 feel at home.

This place did it right the first time. I’ve been to other barber shops in the metro with terrible results but this place by far is a 5 star in my book. Definitely the old school kind of barber shop feel I was looking for also great conversation and all around awesome guys that work up there. They will listen and get you right. Critical: QualityI took my interracial son here for a simple taper fade. The older man cut the side of my sons hair bald. Didn’t fade it at all. After I told him it was uneven looking He then replied and said “it’s hard to tell Bc of his curls.” He did my sons hair in less than 5 minutes but the white person who was before him he took about 15-20 minutes. It’s just unsettling to me and hurts my feelings for my son.
