I received a haircut and color from one of their stylists several months ago and while very expensive, I was very pleased with the results and tipped the stylist accordingly. I booked another appointment for a color a few months later and due to an accident that left me unable to drive, I text the stylist as soon as it occurred and let her know that I would not be able to make my appointment and would need to reschedule at her convenience. I even sent pictures of the injury since I knew about this salon’s VERY strict cancellation policy. The stylist, Ashley responded right away and said no worries and I could reschedule. The next morning while at the doctor’s office having my eye looked at, I received a notice on my phone that 2TenSalon had charged me the FULL amount for the service that I did not receive! $325.00!! I immediately text the stylist and she said that she had no control over that and to text and call the owner, Ashley. After multiple attempts to reach her through call and text she said that their policy would not allow for me to reschedule and apply the charges to the service, even though the stylist said how sorry she was about my injury and I could reschedule. My next thought was….if a customer was to test positive for covid, would they force you to come in and infect the people in their salon so as not to be charged for a service you did not receive?!?! SO….beware of this unscrupulous business. My next call will be to the BBB to report this unprofessional establishment. Shame on you!!!! I did indeed respond to you and asked that my charges be applied to to a new scheduled appointment to which you refused and only offered me half of the charges towards a new appointment. Really???? I would be happy to write you a new glowing review and remove this if you would do the right thing and honor your policy since I did indeed contact the stylist the day before as soon as I sustained the injury and sent her pictures to which she said NO PROBLEM, hope your get better and we can reschedule. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that you would charge me when I gave notification the day before! So again, what do you do about people with covid or flu?? You charge them, too??? As a small business owner, myself, I don’t know how you stay in business. Ball is in your court.
