My daughter, sister and myself went for Manicures and pedicures. We were running behind and they accommodated us when we arrived. The person that did my pedicure, did a good job. The people that did my daughters pedicure and full set, did well. However, my sister was receiving a very painful manicure. When she explained to the lady that it was hurting, she was told it’s because she had thin skin around her nail beds. She continued to be rough. My sister said again your hurting me, this time the lady put her hand in my sisters face and walked away. I asked for the owner, only to learn that this lady was the owner. I explained that she was hurting my sister and she put her hand in my face and walked off. At this point I did not want anyone to continue working on our nails. This was blatantly disrespectful and unacceptable, especially from the owner of the salon. I decided to opt out of my full set at the moment and asked for a discount for my sisters nails. They offered a 5% discount which was an insult. I told the receptionist, who was trying to resolve the situation that I would pay $20 instead of $40. The owner told her to call the police. It is very unfortunate that instead of trying to apologize, the owner was rude and argumentative. As I am reading other reviews, they are continuing to argue with clients even on the reviews, instead of taking responsibility for their actions. This is clearly not a business I want to patronize or would recommend. I feel that the owner should lead by better example and she would get a better response from clients. This does not look good at all from a business standpoint.

I scheduled and appointment for gel nails and was asked if I wanted a pedicure also which I agreed to get! On the day of my appointment it happened to be my Birthday and also Chinese New Year’s Day! I arrived for my appointment and was told my Technician that I scheduled my appointment with was running late! No problem I told the receptionist and I proceeded to choose my color for my nails! 25 minutes later the Manager/owner Elaina arrived and then informed me that my technician was not coming at all due to the fact that it was Chinese New years Day and I could either come back another day when she would be there or she would have to do my nails! I was not happy and her attitude was very unprofessional and argumentative! I have been going to this place since they opened and have know her from the beginning! She was extremely RUDE and acted as if I was in the wrong because I should understand it was Chinese New year. I never received a text message regarding this change in my appointment! Not once did she even recognize my birthday! While doing my nails I received two cuts (bleeding)from the drill and ended up paying more than my regular technician charges me even though she acted as if she gave me a 10 dollar discount! I arrived at 10 am for my appointment and left at 1pm! Worst experience ever! $120 dollars later! This is not the way to treat a long time customer! I like my regular technician but I will NEVER let her, Elaina touch my nails again! There are too many nail salons around to stand for this unprofessional behavior! I have read other reviews about her abrasive attitude and I 100% agree!
