So I may be a touch personal and jaded in my review, but it’s an HONEST review. Melissa is good friends with my ex-wife, and as such well liked by my 10yr old daughter. She LOVES going there. She has donated to fund raising for her school and as a return favor it was my intention to take my business there to support her in return. But melissa was very rude to me…lecturing me in defense of my ex and hanging up on me when I tried to make an appointment to get a hair cut, and a few months later hanging up on me outright when I was looking to have my daughters hair done for a music recital. Melissa has never done more than meet through introduction once with my daughter, yet has treated me very harshly as a business owner, as I only had the best of intentions. I guess I get that salons are kinda “clicky” with their clientele, but it’s a poor way to handle your customers, even if it’s her right. So now I’m stuck looking for a new salonist (something as a man I’m not all too familiar with) by randomly searching google and taking my daughter somewhere new when obviously she would prefer to go to someone she likes aND knows. At no time in the future will I recommend anyone to this salon. Holding a grudge and ill-will is one thing, to show it to a customer is something else entirely. Thank you.
