Good braiders and friendly staff. My only issues were my hairstylist kept talking about the short length of my hair and talking about it being damaged. Also, they use too much gel in my hair each time that I go, but this last time was entirely too much. Rather than that, they are okay.

Critical: ProfessionalismPlease note that I had a 9:00 appointment scheduled. When I arrived, no one greeted me to find out what services I was expecting. It was 2 individuals in the chair of the two workers so I’m a patient individual so I figured they would be with me when the next person was ready. Well almost two hours later, one lady was ready so in walks a gentleman who didn’t have an appointment and they greeted him to find out what services he wanted and proceeded to do his hair! He was ask for three braids which is the same service I had scheduled an appointment for ! I had never felt so disrespected in all the years I have been in God’s green earth . Please note that I had a 9:00 appointment scheduled. When I arrived, no one greeted me to find out what services I was expecting. It was 2 individuals in the chair of the two workers so I’m a patient individual so I figured they would be with me when the next person was ready. This place is beyond unprofessional. The lady who’s there is rude and nasty as hell! I️ went in there at 11 and she told me someone was going to come within two hours. Never less, I️ stayed and waited. Fast forward, the person never came and instantly she started yelling at me and saying nobody can do my hair. After wasting half my day there. First time getting my hair braided in VA since moving her a couple months ago. Place was referred by a co-worker, so I made an appointment. I paid 180 for faux locks and also gave a tip.of 10 dollars. 4 days later returned when 4 twist started unraveling. The stylist was sweet very pleasant and accommodating. I just didn’t appreciate spending 6 hours just to turn around and spend another couple of hours waiting for my locs to be redone. She re-twisted any one that came unraveled or was lose, felt like 7 was done over. That same night three different locs unraveled. So 5 days after spending almost 200 dollars and two trips I took my hair out. Again stylist was sweet she was not the owner. But the quality was unacceptable for that amount of money. I won’t be going back.

I came in and they got straight to work. I got medium box braids and it took them literally 2hours max. I don’t know who wouldn’t like them. Oh and the prices are reasonable. I wish I had a 6th star to give them. I’m going back in 8 weeks!!!

I took my niece to get her hair braided and the women there was patient. Even though they were about to close and my niece had a head full of hair… She knocked it out in less than 30 mins. I’m returning every 2 weeks. Go see mai, she is fast and kind.

This is the worst place to come and get your hair done ! Please listen and don’t come here. I decided last minute to get crochet braids on my natural hair for the summer and I decided to come here because I had been here before for my box braids when I was in high school but I couldn’t remember if I liked how they did it but I still decided to take a chance anyways. I walked in after calling to see how much the hair would cost and what not and they told me 100$. First off my hair is natural and thick, as one of the ladies was combing my hair it was like she thought I was toy doll and was just so rough combing and brushing that I had to turn around and ask her to just stop. Then another lady came and did my braid out and she wasn’t any better ! She was pulling on my hair like it was a game of tug a war or something. I honestly was debating on just getting up and leaving at that point but I decided to stick it out because you know the saying “pain is beauty” but I now know if you even feel the little’s urge to get up because of something like this then get up! Then the second lady asked me if I wanted a u part I was like sure because I had never had one but I had seen it on so many girls already I thought it looked good. Finally we get to the last lady and she puts the twist in and after all of its done I turn around and ….it looked a hot mess. It had too be written all in my face because my sister asked was I OK? Did I like it ? And I said no it looks like a wig ! The way the hair sat in my head was crazy. The last lady put so much braids in my hair that my head was too heavy and even the people in the salon kept asking was it heavy because it looks heavy. And on top of that the u part was a hot mess ! It literally looked like a had a bald spot on my head. But I decided to pay and leave because sometimes you have to let the hair settle down before you can really tell if it’s right for you but I knew right off the bet I hated it I even cried on the way home but my sister kept telling me it was fine. The next day at work my coworker (who are good friends) basically told me the exact same thing I thought to myself, my hair looked like a wig! It was too many braids going on and it should be taken out. Then later one of the braids actually fell out an hour later ! The same day I called the salon to complain and how I wanted my money back the manger was rude and she kept repeating everything I was saying like she couldn’t understand what I was saying so finally I told her I wanted to speak to her in person because then I’d show her what I meant and she kept saying ” I don’t know when I’ll be there ” I told her I would show up later the next evening I ended up not going because of work. It has been one week since I have gotten it done and 3 more braids have fallen out and you can see my braids underneath the twist everytime I bend down to do something. I have to wear a hat every where I go its embarrassing. The u part has gotten worse also, braids have fallen out where the u part is at and its actually taken some of my hair out with it so know I really do have a bald spot. I have bumps on the back of my scalp and where the u part was supposed to be and it hurts. I’ve never had this problem till I came to this salon but never again. Listen to me people do not come to this place for crochet braids ! Or anything for that matter Never again will I come here ! I am so upset I have to pay another check out my pocket to go take all of this crap out and go somewhere else and get someone to fix this mess they made ! I would never recommend this place! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Very un perfessional. I called for an particular style that was said was done before there. When i arrived i was told to come back in 2 hours i did for the lady in the store to tell me she never seen the hair style before. So i nust got 2 feed in braids that where very loose and frizzy. I will never return to this salon ever. They do not do good hair dont waist your money..
