My hair turned out… Fine. I like the color, but I made several comments during my haircut about wanting it slightly shorter and I was repeatedly told “you won’t like that, wear this for a while and then come back if you still don’t like it”.

I’ve been seeing Tammy at 2 Dye 4 for years now for both styling & haircuts, and have always been so pleased with her services. Recently, I had a big work event and needed to get my hair & makeup done during a very small window of time. I set an appointment with Tammy for a formal style and Dani for makeup application. Tammy helped me bump up my appointment with Dani so that they’d overlap and both of them could work on me at the same time. They even got me out early!! I had beautiful, soft curls done by Tammy that held all night and Dani’s makeup was AMAZING and exactly matched the picture I showed her. My eye makeup & lashes stayed on all night, and she even did my brows in a natural way that I loved. I got so many compliments on my makeup and hair that night!! Went here for a haircut and a partial highlight on 1/13/2023 with Danica K.(Dani) Let me tell you she is amazing! I explained what I wanted with cutting off several inches, layers and face framing and adding highlights to brighten my blonde hair as it becomes very dull and lifeless during the winter. She listened, asked questions, and perfectly understood exactly what I wanted. There is no doubt to her skill and passion for hair and her clients. While my hair dye was setting she also assisted another stylist with a more complex haircut on another client, she is very sweet and kind and it showed her passion for helping people look their best even if they arent her client and also her compassion for helping other stylists learn and grow in their skill too, it was really great to see that. She is great to talk to and she really “nailed it” on the full experience from the beautiful color to the perfect shoulder length cut leading to the exact end result I’ve been looking for. She’s not just a hair stylist she’s a hair wizard with incredible love and passion for hair. There is no doubt in my mind I will be booking Danica K. for all my future appointments.

I wanted to try something new , tried calling this salon and got no answer , so I then went to the location itself , was not busy . Waited for 10 minutes and no one so much as even looked in my direction . I left and will not be back , I felt very disrespected.

Critical: QualityI went in to get my hair darkened but with dimension, not just a solid color. After showing the stylist some pictures of what I wanted she said it wouldn’t be a problem. My hair turned out WAY darker than I asked for, and when she washed and dried it she even said, “I know this is darker than you wanted but in about two washes it should be how you want it”. I’m never one to complain, but this still bothers me. This was almost three months ago and I still HATE my hair. I wish the stylist would’ve done more of a consultation and been honest by saying something like, “oh, this would take longer than we have booked today” or “this isn’t something I’m confident I could achieve, let me name a coworker who I think would be great at this”. Not to mention there was color alllll over my forehead, neck, ear, etc. and not just a little bit. I came from over an hour a way to have this done and got to spend the rest of my time in Duluth that day walking around with random dark patches all over my face/head. It was clear the stylist was in a hurry and just wanted to get out of the salon. Very disappointed that I paid over $200 for an all over dye job that is nowhere near what I wanted. Writing this review has been on my mind since I first got my hair done, and I never ever leave reviews, but being that it still bothers me so much, I decided to write something to hopefully save someone else. I have curly hair that’s really thick and coily, and I’ve had my fair share of bad haircuts in Duluth. However, Mich at this salon has been incredible. She listens, makes suggestions, and my hair turns out perfect every single time. I would highly recommend Mich to anyone who needs a great hairstylist that knows what she’s doing. Haircut

This salon is the first salon I’ve actually been to. For years, I’ve done my own hair because of horror stories of rude stylists and stuff. This place is so friendly. All the employees are very welcoming. I’ve been here a few times with the same stylist and it’s so fun every single time. I’ve referred my best friend and she absolutely loves it as well! I highly recommend this salon!!!

I gave them 2 stars because I was able to get my daughter in the same day, unfortunately the stylist chopped my daughters hair way shorter than she wanted it. Which my house is currently meltdown city. We had been there before and the stylist my daughter had the first time did awesome, took her time cutting her hair and then styling it afterwards. This stylist just started chopping away and whisked her out of her chair.
