Ann did a perfect job! I’ve been searching ALL over the triangle for a place that does a good job & keeps appointments. When I arrived, I was told it would be a few minutes, which I liked because then I was in the know. Ann is an angel and was very sweet and didn’t make me feel bad about the skin I bite around my nails, which I’m insecure about. She did a perfect job, it’s seriously the best manicure I’ve gotten! Although it’s far from my house, I will definitely be making the trip whenever I need a mani!

I raise Great Dane puppies which means I am rough on them and need them to hold up. They make it to my next appt 3 weeks apart and last longer when I need them to no problem. I’m always greeted with kindness when I call to make an appt or walk in the door. Anne and Johnnie are both professional and caring, as are other technicians. When you tell them what you want they go out of their way to ensure you get it if it’s doable. Since they’ve taken over this shop I’ve been nothing short of impressed every single time! My nails are always flawless. Anne does my eyebrows better than anyone in the past. I definitely recommend giving First Nail Spa in Pittsboro NC a try! This nail salon gets an A+ in all categories from me! I am so picky when it comes to my nails. I raise Great Dane puppies which means I am rough on them and need them to hold up. They make it to my next appt 3 weeks apart and last longer when I need them to no problem. I’m always greeted with kindness when I call to make an appt or walk in the door. My nails turned out nice and I really like them. The prices were also fair but the service was questionable. I arrived on a Thursday (8/4) at noon and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. This was no issue for me considering I was a walk-in. I was called back about 45-50 minutes later (still not an issue) and the nail tech began the process to remove the SNS from my nails. It is now 2:00pm and I am still sitting here waiting for my nails to be done as well as my pedicure. Rather than finishing up my nails, I guess the nail tech felt it was more important to begin a mani/pedi for another customer who came in after me. What’s worse is that if I had not taken the initiative to remove the acetone & foil from my hands myself, it would still be sitting on my hands. I’ve watched customers who came in AFTER me come and go. Last time I checked, my money will spend the same as theirs so I’m not sure why I’ve had to wait 2 hours. Needless to say I will be forced to leave without a pedicure out of fear that it may require me to be here even longer. Thankfully, the nail tech discounted my service due to the long wait, so I commend him for that. However, I would prefer to be in and out in a timely manner if/when I visit again.

I had gotten 2 pedicures by Tony, and he is great, very detailed oriented and ensures each mail is painted perfectly. I went today for a pedi and it was later in the evening so a bit busier than the morning time, I was told i was next after this lady that was already there was called. 15 minutes later 3 ladies walk in all at different times and were asked to go straight to the back. I will not continue to get service here, the busy shift is trash.

I went there years ago now and showed a picture of the nails I wanted to the guy. He said he could do it and then painted them completely different. When I said that’s not what I asked for he was extremely rude and said he wouldn’t redo them correctly without charging me more money. I definitely don’t recommend them to anyone. They have no customer service, and lie to people and then get an attitude and try to overcharge them.

I would love to try this salon but both times they have been closed. The owners have a right to a vacation and can close whenever they want, but I ask that they post the closure on in their website. My daughter was to treat me for Mother’s Day. We checked the website and it said opens at noon. Nope! Sign on the door said closed for Mother’s Day. Today we tried again. Nope, the sign on the door said they will be closed until Tuesday. I know both times it was a holiday and that is fine. I just ask that the potential clients be informed on the website.

This salon is so great since the ownership changed! Johnny and Anne are both so friendly and both do a great job. I had a bad experience with the former owner a few years ago so hadn’t been back till hearing they’re under new management so gave them a try and so glad I did! I had been driving 20 minutes to Chapel Hill from Pittsboro to get my nails done so very excited to have a great salon close to home now.

It was very relaxing, they didn’t cut my cuticles or burn my skin while buffing and shaping my nails with the file and electronic tools (happens almost every time), the prices were fair and the quality was good.
