Brought my son here yesterday for the first time since his first cut in 2019. He has always had a hard time with haircuts. He was diagnosed with Autism in late 2019. Hair cuts have been his biggest trigger to date. I have been taking him to someone who deals with children on the spectrum specifically since he requires breaks and much more time due to sensory overload but they were on vacation and it needed to be done for this hot weather! I decided to give this place another whirl since its in the area and they had set me up with Crystal. She was absolutely fantastic. She’s was patient kind and completely relaxed in a situation that can often be very overwhelming. He jumps, cry’s, and wiggles/moves a whole ton and she kept excellent control the whole time with also doing it in a timely manner so we could get him trough it as quickly as he would allow She showed him the tools she was going to use before hand and let him touch/see them. Though he still had a very hard time the effort absolutely did not go unnoticed. Hopefully with each haircut he will get through them a bit easier. Thank you Crystal!! 🙂
