I have been here for 2 cuts. The first one was great and my stylist, Devin, did an amazing job. Today I went in and explained that my wedding was in 1 week told him how I style my hair. In the middle of the cut he started styling my hair the opposite way, but then explained he was cutting it in such a way where I could style it both ways. The haircut was fine, but definitely not worth the $52 dollars it cost to get. When I got home my fiance noticed the back of my neck which was not faded well and looks a bit uneven. Overall, the haircut was fine, but not worth the price. Everyone in there if very kind/professional and and I am not sure if this was just a bad day for my stylist, but a week before my wedding I am not very happy.

Just moved in town a few weeks ago and need to find a place for my haircut. I came across 18|8 and booked a haircut with Peter on Saturday (9/3/2022). Peter took good care of me and gave me a great haircut I am really happy with. I definitely will go back to Peter for my haircut in the future. In fact, I have already booked my next appointment in October.

My first time going to the Solon after hearing great things. I called early in the day to schedule an appointment and was told I could come in for 5:00pm. After getting there and waiting 20 mins (5:20) I was told I needed to wear a mask or they will not cut my hair. They also asked me for a vaccine card or proof of vaccination to get a hair cut. Needless to say I walked out without getting a cut. Never going back.

This was my first visit to an 18/8. I was told that there are two locations in Massachusetts and over a hundred nationwide. I got a basic haircut and my beard lightly trimmed. This salon markets themselves as somewhere in between a salon and a traditional barbershop. The young man that cut my hair said 18/8 typically likes to use scissors vs clippers, that they are selective in choosing barbers, and that you can always be assured that you’ll get a good cut. Making an appointment for the same day felt a little strange, in that I was told they don’t take any new clients on at the last moment. That being said, they did squeeze me (they accidentally thought I was a regular client) and I got a good, layered scissor cut. The salon is clean and the service good, although overall I felt the experience was somewhat impersonal. I was hoping for something unique, but among the decor, the experience, the music and the interactions nothing really stood out as exceptional, or that really defined the 18/8 brand difference.

I always have a great experience at 18/8 in Burlington. I have received several great haircuts for multiple barbers here. Everyone has great barbering skills and incredible customer service. My most recent visit on 2/4/22 was exceptional. I had David as my barber and he was incredible. His attention to detail was unmatched. Everything from the fade, to the styling, as well as blending into my beard was spectacular and above and beyond anything I had received in the past. You can tell he takes pride in the quality of every haircut he gives. I look forward to booking with him again!

I visited this barber shop because the guys at work would make fun of me for going to Supercuts. Susan was super helpful with scheduling an appointment, and Rick was very warm and welcoming and very attentive to detail. It’s not in my budget to go here regularly, but the entire atmosphere was super relaxing. I really enjoyed the experience and am looking forward to coming back again.
