Ok so the reason I’m giving this review 3 stars is because the people here were absolutely lovely but as of what I got for the price I’m very disappointed. I don’t usually do reviews because I don’t like when others feel like I’m just being rude. The first photo I attached was my hair before the appointment. The next two photos were what I asked for and the following photos was what I received. Now the lady who did my hair is absolutely a sweetheart which is why I didn’t have the heart to say anything. I mean as you can tell what I asked for and what I received really isn’t close. Although the hair I have now is still cute it’s not what I came for. I had high expectations too, walking in, based on the reviews and photos of hair they did. I think she wasn’t to far off of my goal but definitely would of liked more of a similar out come as the photos. No hate here just was hoping for more.

If you are looking for an amazing hair salon, visit 1820 Collective. I just love this place; great people, amazing-smelling products, and an awesome atmosphere. Everyone is so nice here, from the owner, to the receptionist to the amazing stylists. I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half and I only have positive things to say. This building is historic and so charming and cozy inside. And of course, I’m biased, but if you want a stylist who really listens to you and understands how you want your hair cut, schedule an appointment with Kassy. Everytime I come in, she takes her time to understand what I want that visit and then I get spoiled with the heated neck rest at the sink and the footstool, not to mention the fireplace. Plus, I get a great scalp massage and I leave feeling like I just had the best therapy ever. Why go to those other salons? Save your time and spend your money here; it’s definitely worth it.

Love 1820! The entire crew is friendly and always accommodating. I had a last minute interview for a promotion at work but my normal stylist was booked. The OWNER, Jack, worked me into his schedule on a Saturday and got me cleaned up for the interview. Highly recommend the entire team!

Booked a haircut with Ty. I asked to keep length, but reduce bulk, and Ty managed to do it. I told him that I had problems getting a comb through my hair, and before I left, he gave me a comb to run through my hair to make sure the problem was solved. I’ve been to almost all salons in the area, but have always preferred this one. It’s always clean and relaxing, and the staff are great.
