December 16th, 1773. A bunch of ragtag misfits said “To Hell With Taxes and The Brits” and made the entirety of the Boston Harbor taste like tea for the next 30 years. The Boston tea Party. Then a bunch of stuff happened and then boom, in 1776, Freedom was invented. I can only imagine one of the founding fathers that signed the declaration of independence also had a penchant for cutting hair, and passed his craft down from generation to generation, leading to the founding of 1776 Men’s Grooming Parlor. This place is fantastic. They don’t like taking walk ins but they will because freedom. They don’t always let you get sloshed but they offer you a beer because freedom. The only place I’ve ever gotten a nose wax. Because freedom. Competitive prices and all the freedom an establishment can stand for backed by friendly staff that loves to chat while giving amazing haircuts. Visit this place, and let your hair follicles discover what it means to be free

Great atmosphere. They have an old Pac Man machine, race car arcade game, and air hockey table to entertain kids (like my 4yr old) while waiting for their haircut or their siblings/parent to be finished. The employees were all very friendly and made us feel welcomed as if we’d been customers for years, even though it was the first time I’d taken my sons. My 4yr old has a triple whirl on top of his head that is difficult to keep tame, and they fixed his haircut to make it all blend in without all the cowlicks every morning. Also helped my 14yr old find a haircut that would look better now that he has glasses for the first time.
