This barber shop is very unprofessional. The owner is rude. He makes inappropriate comments to his customers in front of everyone. After advising of the disrespect, he continued with the inappropriate comments. They increase their prices 4 times in the last year. They do not value their clients. They are not friendly and do not provide the best services. I do not recommend this shop. My experiences here have been beyond horrible. I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau.

I called get my son who has down syndrome a back to school haircut and they told me to come in. I was told there was a wait time due to customers who had an appt scheduled. After, an hour and 15 min wait and 10 customers, we left. It was obvious that noone wanted to cut my sons hair. They kept reading off the list and they kept telling us 15 mins…15 mins…which never came. One of the customers kept staring at my son as his barber spoke in spanish about him. This is unacceptable on all levels. We will never go back.

I have been going here for 2 years. I got a fade from every barber and they all do a great job. I never wait long and they all have good personalities. Every person that works here is great. This was my second time coming here. First visit was great and Chano did a fine job with my haircut. However, on my second visit just now I also got my eyebrows trimmed and I feel like I got done dirty to be honest. Each individual eyebrow looks fine but it’s so obviously uneven I’m surprised he didn’t realize it. I also didn’t realize it until I got in my car and looked in the mirror.

I booked and pre paid two appointments online for each one of my toddlers. I arrived 5 minutes late and I was asked if I had a an appointment. I said yes and asked for Gloria A and Diana H (one for each one of my kiddos). When she came up to me she was quick to inform me (with lots of attitude) that my appointment had been canceled. She said I would have to book with a different barber if I still wanted to get the service. She said it was the busiest day of the year for them and that I was too late (again, constantly pointing out that I was late). I estimate there were about 6 or 7 barbers working, and only 2 or 3 other patrons besides me. Based on her attitude and lack of professionalism right off the start I knew I did not want her cutting my boy’s hair. My first question was, how does my money get refunded? She said it was non-refundable. My next words were, “I was 5 minutes late”. She pulled out and switched on her phone and told me, “no you are 8 minutes late!” Like she hadn’t been lecturing me for about 3 minutes leading up to that. When you book a service with this barbershop through the website, next to the price it will specify duration of the service. I purchased a kids edge up for my 2 year old for $15 and next to the price it said the duration would take approximately 30 minutes. I knew it would take ten minutes to clean his neck and side burns. My 4 year old needed the exact same service, plus he needed the dead ends in his bangs trimmed (that automatically makes the service a premium haircut, and I totally understand) I paid $23. Then I explained that my boys did not need fades they only needed a light clean up of the side burns and necks basically and it would only take 10-15 minute max. She stuck to the policy and told me I needed to book a different barber and pay the service again. The part that I have trouble comprehending is how they were totally ok taking for a service they did not perform and then having the wit to defend their posture with no regard for a client (as a person) or the situation. I know policies are in place and we have to abide in order to maintain order. I also know a little bit about customer service and business growth, and I know from experience that a little empathy and a little care sometimes can win you long time customers. At the end of the day, that is what is all about. Gloria and Diana expressed indifference and a great lack of professionalism at my frustration and that is not a good way to do business.

Critical: ProfessionalismHave been going here for almost 2 years with the same barber and he’s always done a great job, no complaints with him, but I scheduled a visit and had to pre pay and on the morning of the visit I had a family matter come up and forgot about my appointment. I called and asked if I could still come in or reschedule and whoever picked up said no to both and when I asked for a refund he also said no, this is the first time I write a review on any business because it’s the first time I’ve ever had a business steal from me.
