I would give Heads Up Hair Studio 10 stars if I could. Jaycee the owner is a great hair dresser. She really listens to her customers for the vision of their hair and works with you to achieve your look. The salon is immaculate which is something I always look for. I’ve been to plenty of so called “upscale” salons in Monmouth & Ocean Counties that were horrible…just a bunch of posers charging NY prices for mediocre work.

Got a great haircut from Jaycee! Was down visiting family and needed a haircut, this salon was recommended to me so I gave it a try. Don’t normally get my haircut on vacation bc I have curly hair and am usually afraid to get it cut by anyone other than my regular stylist at home. But Jaycee (the owner) came highly recommended so I took a chance… and she did a great job! Nice and friendly, too, and very reasonable prices.

I have been Kristen’s client for some time now. I followed her when she made the move to Heads Up Hair Salon and am so glad I did! The salon itself is clean, bright and cheery. Jaycee the owner couldn’t be a nicer, sweeter person. She makes you feel right at home. She has done my hair and I am always pleased with the results. Jaycee is amazing! I had used a semi permanent color on my natural blonde hair (I know, I know). Well the color didn’t deposit evenly or look good at all. It never washed out and looked disgusting.
