What sets this salon apart from the rest? Very sweet and friendly staff, no TV with the news on, relaxing pop music I can sing along with, and pink towels. Yes, pink towels. I have seen ratty white towels or even paper towels at other salons, but this salon has soft pink towels. This is a simple touch that makes such a difference.

I’ve been here a few times before, and always received the student discount which made the price for dip powder VERY reasonable. The ladies are the best – I had a man do them once and it just seemed rushed and not nearly as relaxing. However, I recently came in for another dip manicure, and was told they would only give me the student discount if I paid in cash. This came as a surprise to me because I’ve always paid with a credit card in the past. I assume it has something to do with the credit card fees each business typically has to pay, but I was quite annoyed as I do not treat myself often, and had budgeted out a specific amount for this service and was charged more than expected due to not paying with cash. Not sure if I’ll return.

I went into get tips off and a plain manicure over it. Instead of soaking the tips and taking them off, they were buzzed off, and they were shaved down so thin, it started going through my real nail. Now, since they are so incredibly thin, they keep breaking. It was incredibly painful. Polish removal
