Alter Ego Salon is like one stop shopping for inner AND outer beauty. These ladies are masters of their respective trades, and are also just filled with this warm loving energy that makes people just naturally want to gravitate toward them! Geographically located right on Rt. 10 in the Roxbury/Ledgewood area, the building offers plenty of parking out front and additional parking in the rear. Since there are two entrances, you never have to walk far to get in. The building is fully ADA accessible and sports a digital entrance call box for the convenience of the customers and the safety of the staff. Inside the building is clean and bright. The salon suite itself is so cozy, you’ll want to hang out all day- and the Alter Ego staff are so warm and welcoming, you’ll feel like you’re having a ladies day out! When you first walk in, the aesthetics area is directly in front of you. To your right, you’ll find the hair dressing area. Each area is well-kept and tidy. The immediate wall features a waiting area/bench, and the opposing wall features an ivy and neon feature that begs for your before and after selfies. Both my daughters, both my sons, my husband, and myself all use this salon. My daughters’ eyelashes have never looked fuller or more beautiful. Shaianne is a master of her craft! Our hair has never felt more well-managed. Being a blended family, we all have different hair needs. Kaleigh understands how my curls differ from my daughters’ stick straight hair. She handles the boys’ cuts with ease, and she even fixed one of my son’s issues with dry, brittle hair that had been plaguing him for years! Prices are more than reasonable, and they offer multiple means of payment which is super important in a day and age where almost no one carries cash and checks anymore! Appointments are flexible, booking is easy, and both ladies are very professional and efficient. After just one service, it honestly started to feel like visiting family instead of stopping at a salon! I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for one-stop shopping for their beauty, skin, hair, and soul/self care! You won’t regret it!
