I moved to this area 2 yrs. ago. I’ve been trying to find a barber since. Well, I tried the Yankee Clipper and found my barber. Nice, quiet little Barbershop and the barbers know how to cut hair. I have been here 3 times now and never had a bad haircut. I love this place. They are cheaper than my last barber, but I give them the same amount because I’m so pleased with my haircut. I was the last customer of the night and there was a female barber working. She gave me a great haircut. She did poorly on my beard since the chin ended up being two different lengths left to right. It was noticeable after a few days. Good haircut. Bad bard trim. Why is it so hard to find someone in this town who does a good beard cut???

Have only 2 of the ladies that work on first shift, Anna and the brunette. Both are wonderful and will work with you to try and get you exactly what you’re looking for. I go here because of the service, that and it’s local business, not a chain of business men trying to stay rich.

Perfect quiet place and the male owner can talk about more than just kids and hair (although he’s got some nice girls working there too). One more thing, it’s a localnon-chain business, which means the money stays in the Grand Rapids community instead of going out of state to some corporate headquarters for some already-rich company.
