Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI came to Wild + Rooted because several people I know use them and swear by them and rave about them, over and over. I sat in Jamie’s chair, both excited and nervous, and expressed this to her. Once my hair was being dried, I expressed that it wasn’t what I wanted, and was told it would look different when it was dry. I expressed that it still wasn’t what I wanted (too dark) as my hair was being dried (I’ve been having my hair colored for 21 years and my mother was a master cosmetologist). My hair has never had a hard time being lifted. My hair was uneven for some reason, and so we had to even it up, and she asked if I wanted it even, and I said yes. While I was still in her chair, I expressed that my hair was still uneven and it didn’t look any different than when I sat in the chair. She said she could add more blonde, but didn’t have time to at that time. I said that was fine, because I didn’t have time to sit longer either.I still checked out and paid, trusting that she would fix/correct my hair.I texted after I left, to find out the next steps to have my hair fixed the way it should have initially been done, only to be brushed off, and basically told “tough” – in other words, it didn’t matter that I spent $115 on my hair & didn’t like it and it wasn’t cut even.No one can even tell a difference with what was done with my hair, which is what I told her myself, before I got out of her chair. And my hair is not even.I run my own business and would never be okay with leaving a customer/client feeling the way I feel right now, and now I’m stuck with hair I’m not happy with, a stylist that’s not offering to correct it, and not another $115 to have someone else go behind her and do what I initially asked for.I was even quoted the same price for a full, and a partial, after I asked about a partial to keep the price down.I’m so unhappy with my hair.
