Very pleased with the doctors and staff as they perform there duties to help the people they are doing a great service for. I have had 2 places on my back and neck taken care of and know that it’s only the beginning of work that I will have to go through but I do look forward to getting these things taken care of and have the greatest of confidence in their abilities to take care of me. They make me completely comfortable and I think of them as family.

The entire staff at VA Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center is 1st class. They are attentive, caring and genuinely interested in you as their patient. Everyone explained their part in the procedure, engaged in everyday life conversations and were the most polite and professional medical group I have encountered. Other medical facilities in the area could learn a great deal from this group.

Excellent care, welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. Friendly and extremely efficient front desk staff and medical staff. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Talens, and their surgical team explained everything and the procedure went smoothly and without any discomfort. Afterward the post procedure instructions were explained in depth. We felt that they really care for their patients. The facility was extremely clean and organized. Overall a great experience by an excellent staff!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the doctors and staff at this practice. I was well treated and informed about the procedure I was going to have. I feared the worst because of the location of the lesion that had to be removed. When the bandage came off I was given a mirror so I could see for my self. My nose looked like MY nose. I had joked I was going to go to Target and get the “BIG RED” Target nose. I am Happy to say it won’t be necessary. Skin Cancer is not to be played around with and I have one more place to be removed next week and in the future I will have a full body scan each year. A big THANK YOU to Virginia Dermatology.

I was given a sample of a product that is recommended for me for my dry itchy diabetic skin. I left with a detailed sheet of instructions following my biopsies.
