I selfishly do not want to leave this review so that I can keep this hidden GEM to myself…however; I’ve been faded by some of the BEST in the industry and I feel obligated to leave this review. First of all, my Barber has been Jorge (2nd time now) and I ONLY stopped in the first time because I was in a pinch and needed a fade. I decided to give this place a whirl and was pleasantly surprised! Why? Thank you for asking! Let me explain: Jorge only speaks Spanish and I do not. Both times I’ve had a translator by a wonderful women and STILL got one of the best haircuts I’ve received in a long time! If you’ve ever been cut by the best you know the feel of a straight blade on your face or your eyebrows and this is only the 2nd person I’ve felt with the lightness of the touch. It’s a unique feeling and I gotta give this place ALL of the praise for seemingly being family owned and doing an absolutely amazing job at it. They also have had kids in there both times and are DEFINITELY kid friendly (I have two myself), great place, highly recommend, and I will bringing my son in soon, THANK YOU Jorge for the amazing attention to detail and whomever runs this place! – Daniel

Excellent barbershop! I was new in the area and this was the only place open on a Sunday so I appreciate that. I showed Alberto what I wanted and he took care of me and took his time and made my haircut precise. He took the time to get to know me as well which I also appreciate. I will be coming back here in the future when I’m back in Illinois!
