Horrible hair color. She actually styled my hair and asked for $160! I had zebra stripes! She ended up dying it again and this time my roots turned BLACK! I have strawberry red hair. Went in for red high/low lights. I ended up not paying and having to find someone who would help me later that night to try and fix it. I called the owner the next day and she called me a liar. Upon the recommendation of another hair professional in town, last September I made an appointment with Marilyn Johnson to add some “fun” color streaks to my hair in teal and blue. While I understand my hair is of a type that takes color well, I would still like to say she did an outstanding job. The color was saturated and the streaks were well-distributed and in a nice proportion/ratio to my natural hair color. I got good instructions on how to make the color last as long as possible, and a very nice trim that was exactly what I wanted without quite knowing it, too. Months later, the color has faded some (this is to be expected!) but remains vivid and I receive compliments on a nearly daily basis. Looking forward to my next color adventure with Marilyn!
