Just a note that, since the locker room is small, I would recommend arriving for your service way ahead of time, so you’ll have enough time to change and store things in your locker while sharing the space with others. We arrived fifteen minutes early, and that was barely enough time for us.

I had a 30 min prenatal massage with Shawn and can’t wait to return. She addressed exactly what I needed and provided deep tissue therapy to address my lower back pain and tight shoulders. The environment of the spa is very relaxing as well.

The message was great, however the locker room is small. The lockers are small and there is only one duel shower for the men and women locker rooms. They do have a little shop with cute stuff.

Ilana is excellent at her craft! I entered this spa with dull skin and I left with glowy dewy skin. I highly recommend the Marine Hydrating facial. Tip check out the nicely curated selection of skin care products. Skin treatments

My go-to place to get my brows waxed for over a decade – maybe even close to two decades. The atmosphere is nice in here. I always choose Laura. Master of her craft and just a thoughtful, nice person. Waxing

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueDave at the Mt Pleasant location is a miracle worker! He provided one of the best prenatal massages I’ve ever had by relieving my sciatica and making my lower back feel much better! I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend him!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityJudy is an experienced esthetician who has worked wonders for my skin. She’s the first person in years – after visits to other spas, dermatologists, etc. that has really listened and helped with all of my skin issues. On top of her expertise and amazing results – she’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I had a FANTASTIC deep tissue massage by Robin yesterday. I was transported out of my tense and muscle-knotted body into the realm of Nirvana, so appropriately named. I have been looking for a massage therapist of this caliber for a long long time, and I have finally found her. 10 thumbs up. Clean, tastefully appointed facilities, friendly, helpful team members. Already booked the next massage :-)))))

Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going to Urban Nirvana on Long Point Rd. for nearly 12 years pretty much every 4-6 weeks (except during Covid). I had a 4:00 appointment. I arrived 5-8 mins. late (max) due to traffic. When I got there, I was told that my appointment slot was for only 10 mins, which was totally new information to me (on the average my service typically is 20+ mins). The front desk receptionist went back to the esthetician and returned by telling me the esthetician said she no longer was able to provide me my service. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. In an effort to “help”, the receptionist told me I can sit and wait after the next client was done and esthetician could potentially fit me in (but esthetician said no guarantees). I sat and waited for about 20 mins and still no update. I decided to leave, and the receptionist told me that she couldn’t confirm or deny if I was going to be charged for the service. What? I eventually spoke with the manager via the phone, and she confirmed that I wasn’t going to be charged. What I can’t understand is what happened to customer service? The service I was receiving from Urban Nirvana is available at many other places, giving me no shortage of alternative options. But I continued to go to Urban Nirvana because I was a loyal customer. Again, nearly 12 years of my business (9 times per year x 12 years = approximately 108 appointments). Clearly Urban Nirvana does not hold the same value for their customers. I’m sad and disappointment to what they have become. I am not a person that ever writes a review, but I was so upset on how I was treated I felt obligated to share my experience. The manager did offer to try and find another appointment later that evening or sometime over the weekend. Unfortunately, they were not valid options as I made my original appointment at a certain day/time due to a weekend event.Service: Body waxingI’ve been going to Urban Nirvana on Long Point Rd. for nearly 12 years pretty much every 4-6 weeks (except during Covid).
