While she does my hair she tells me what I can do to make it the best it can be. On 09/26/17, I scheduled an appointment for 10/05/17 because of Uptown’s rave reviews. Ms. Hicks of Uptown confirmed my appointment time and date via phone that day, and advised that I would receive a text message the day before my appointment. I didn’t receive a text the day before, so I called the morning of my appointment. Ms. Hicks seemed confused; it appears she couldn’t find my appointment. So, she proceeded to argue that I scheduled it on another day, then she said I was supposed to call her back to confirm. Never once did she apologize for her error, or any possible confusion, nor did she offer to rectify. She simply went back and forth until I said “thank you,” and ended the call.
