Roy and his assistant did an amazing job on my hair. I went in with like three or four different colors on my hair due to at home hair dying. After they did the foilyage on my hair it looks much healthier and of course it came out looking beautiful. Thank you to Roy, his assistant, and the rest of the staff at Unfade! Everyone was so nice, professional, and they took their time to make sure I had a good experience there. The outcome exceeded my expectations and I am so happy with how my hair came out. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I need my hair dyed and I highly recommend booking an appointment with Roy.

I had the best experience with Unfade, from my stylist Leo to Ken who assisted. I have had bad experiences dyeing my hair before, which is why it took me 6+ years to try again. Leo explained how the process would go from start to finish and reassured me that my black hair would not suffer with the kind of bleaching they would do. He produced an amazing blend of lavender and silver based on a couple of photos I showed him, but I would say he did a better job than the examples I shared! The result is more subtle and better suited to my hair. He also gave me a haircut—again, better than the example I showed him. He spent so much time perfecting the cut and I am thankful for both him and Ken for putting in the time (a full day) and making the experience so pleasant. I will definitely be coming back!

This was my first time at Unfade Hair Salon but my fantastic experience with Bernice will not be my last. Bernice demonstrated extreme attention to detail as she dyed and cut my hair, managing to retain softness and healthiness after the bleaching process. I am so happy with the ashy color Bernice recommended, it’s stunning! She also took the time to suggest different hair oils and color treatments as this was my first time getting a balayage. Overall, extremely friendly and experienced staff!

I was originally reluctant to dye my hair since my previous bleaching experiences at other salons were quite damaging. However, I was super impressed with the results and their use of high-quality products. Third, I am also super happy about the color composition Bernice put together, I really love that she was meticulous about the smallest details ranging from the mix of colors, application, and the way she revived my choppy haircut. However, I was super impressed with the results and their use of high-quality products. Bernice did a great foiliage job on my hair. I was unsure exactly what color I wanted—just something ashy, dark brown, natural looking but wouldn’t wash out my skin tone. I appreciated how they took me even though I arrived late to my appointment. I liked that Bernice and her assistant worked together on my hair so that it would be done faster. I was also pleased to be able to speak Cantonese, my native language with the stylists and staff. The music keeps you well energized as well. This studio is cash only so bring enough cash.

I have been wanting to dye my hair for a while, but never really got around to it due to pure laziness. When I finally decided that it was time, I made an appointment at Unfade – and it turned out to be the perfect choice! I showed my stylist Leo, a couple of pictures of the hair color that I had in mind, and basically put the fate of my hair in his hand. He was super patient and explained everything with a lot of details. He got the color from the picture perfectly! I was shocked when he showed me my hair from the back since it looked like a wig… In any case, he and his assistant, Michelle, took their time to work on my hair (and I have a lot of hair). They completely transformed my virgin black hair into something else and I’ve been getting so many compliments since! 100% recommend Unfade, Leo and the rest of the Unfade team!
