I came in on a Sunday (2 weeks, and 2 days ago), last minute and last appointment of the day. I explained what I wanted and of course walked away with something completely different. All he kept saying is that we couldn’t go any shorter than what he did because my hair was so fine. At the end, he said he couldn’t do much more with it, handed me a mirror and asked if I like it. My fault, I said yes, I just didn’t know what to say to someone who is telling me they can’t do what I asked for. I’ve had shorter cuts before and my hair looked great. He cut it really fast and for 15 min of work, and a type of haircut I didn’t ask for, I don’t know that I would come back to pay $50 again.

I called Phenix Salon and spoke with Khaled Noor; he graciously squeezed me into his schedule. Going to a new stylist without a referral will make anyone a bit apprehensive, but I can say unequivocally that Khaled did not disappoint. I have super fine hair and am very picky about how it is cut. He listened to what I wanted and also made some very good suggestions. This is the best cut I’ve had in a long time. I am so happy with it! If I lived here, I would not go to anyone but him. My biggest regret is that I did not tip him more. Before my next visit, I will be making my appointment with Khaled in advance. I called Phenix Salon and spoke with Khaled Noor; he graciously squeezed me into his schedule. Khaled is very attentive to what you want. The first thing i told him was I wanted my haircut to be really short. He didn’t just butcher my head, he was careful to see how short was short and having lost my hairstylist, finding one that is good isn’t easy. I have already started recommending him to everyone i know.

Very nice people, stylists. Nice open shop. My stylist advised me to take magnesium for hair loss, super down to earth and nice to chat with and listen to how to cut hair. 🙂 They are a little pricey for a wash, cut and dry. We paid $80 for myself and my daughter. $88 with tip. Their after cut styling is a little retro but it was a fun day and they’re good people. I look forward to going again!
