Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf I could give a zero I would. I was a loyal customer to this business. I went on multiple occasions and had pleasant experiences. But this evening I have never been treated with so much disrespect. The service I received was terrible. The girl that did my nails was rushing to pick up her daughter and that reflected in my pedicure. They asked me to come back the next day. I agreed but they still wanted me to pay for nails that looked like a child painted. I refuse to come back here and be treated as trash even when I tip well. If I could give a zero I would. I was a loyal customer to this business. I went on multiple occasions and had pleasant experiences. But this evening I have never been treated with so much disrespect. Where to start…made an appointment for mani pedi for my sisters birthday. When we got there they filled up the water, then went back to working on other customers. Never asked us once if the water was ok, it wasn’t-it was cold. We sat in cold water for 30 minutes before they started working on us. Yet an hour into service and their shop was cleared out with employees sitting around doing nothing. They could have jumped in and started on our nails while we were still getting feet done but nope. So either stop taking walk ins if you have appointments or don’t make appointments if you know they will have to wait that long?? We were there over 2 hours for simple mani pedi’s. Did not get lotion on my feet, they only used the grater which made my feet more rough than when I came in. The guy couldn’t do designs AT ALL. He asked another employee to come do the design for him, but she was too busy doing her own nails. So he kept redoing my design multiple times, I finally said just leave it. Same thing when it came to my nails, he did one then couldn’t get the other one even so another employee had to step in and do the other one. They didn’t even have scrubbers for when you are washing your hands…I way overpaid and would rather have my money back, I could do better designs myself. Will not be going back.

My daughter and I popped in one day looking for a new nail salon to call home. They were able to take us right back. The nail techs were awesome, friendly, AND beautiful! The men were handsome too, and super nice. The salon is very nice. My daughter loved her nails, and my pink & white full set was perfectly done! I even broke a nail a few days later and went back to the salon, and they fixed me right up immediately, and no charge. NOTHING ugly about THIS place. AND their prices are better than the other many springfield salons we’ve been to. We will definitely be back!!

I have been going to Eric and Tuba for 9 years and have always been happy with every service they’ve done on me. They are both very good at what they do and extremely professional. Ugly Nail has been my choice for manicures and pedicures. They are highly skilled, and provide a friendly atmosphere. Appointments are punctual, but walk-ins are also available. I will NEVER go back to this salon. $50 for a dip powder that took 2 hours. None of the nails are shaped the same, they are so thick and chunky – even under the nails and around the sides, she took one down to where when I go somewhere else to get them fixed, ALL of my nails will have to be shortened substantially to match. I am beyond upset for the shotty work that I had done. Went in with high expectations and left knowing why they’re called Ugly Nails. If you’re a regular, you’ll get great service and good work done as I witnessed with the 2 other women in the shop getting their nails done who were in and out while I sat there getting mine done regrettably. Do not recommend at all. Huge waste of time and money to end up having to go somewhere ride to spend more time and money to fix them.
