5 years ago Melissa gave me the best hair cut of my life! This was really the first time I left a salon feeling better than when I went in. No need to go home and frantically wash, straighten, trim, and struggle to make your hair look human again, as was my usually post hair cut routine. I’ve had color and cuts and trims and always love the results! Excellent service and prices. Convenient location right off the beltline. Would give 6 stars. I went to Melissa on a lark – well okay, nobody else had availability so it was kismet. But I went to her neatly managed salon and gave her a chance to cut my hair. Melissa actually exudes a sincere kindness; I didn’t feel self-conscious or intruding as she welcomed me. Melissa actually talked with me about the style I wanted and made it happen for me. She uses a specific line of products but didn’t badger me to buy them – I’ve seen her three times since April and she still respects my preferences. The only time things have gone awry is when I did not speak up about something I didn’t like about the hairstyle. Melissa is open to a customer speaking their mind – and will do what is necessarily reasonable in order to work with the client’s concern. Thank you Melissa!
