If you tell them specifically what you want done to your hair or whatever you’re there for, they do their very best to achieve that look and goal for you! I love every one who works here. Siearra and Des are miracle workers! And my cousin also works here and she’s fabulous! Literally all the girls who work here are AMAZING! Whatever you ask for you get! This Salon deserves a 5 star rating! Everyone in this work environment is incredible and extremely talented with what they do! They’re always, always so kind and compassionate to their customers. If you tell them specifically what you want done to your hair or whatever you’re there for, they do their very best to achieve that look and goal for you! I love every one who works here. I absolutely love having my hair done by Siearra! I travel 45 minutes to get my hair done because not only do I trust her to always make my hair beautiful, but she is the absolute sweetest soul! I love going in there because I know I’m going to have a good day. Not only is she my hair stylist, but she has become my friend and I absolutely adore her. Truly wonderful place. I needed my hair colored last minute and Des was able to fit me in within an hour. She was incredibly patient when my hair took for forever to color because of how thick it is and even ended up staying late to finish it. Not only was she patient with me, but also with my 7 year old daughter I had with me. She was incredibly sweet to her. My hair looks fabulous. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!! Their prices are also very reasonable.

First of all, I am 57 years old and have never had anyone cut my hair the way that I like it. This was my first visit to Tropical Tanning & Beauty, so I was a little unsure of how it would turn out because I’ve never had any luck with hair stylists. Desiree changed all of that. I was expecting to have my hair washed like I’ve always had, but Desiree told me that she could cut my hair dry. Having naturally wavy thick hair, I didn’t think that was possible. Boy was I wrong. She did a fantastic job!!! She corrected all of the “problems” that previous hair stylists had created, and I was VERY pleased. I have never walked out of a salon and quickly thrown on a hat to rush home and “redo” my hair. Tonight, I walked out proudly. I even stopped by the grocery store on my way home. No hat was necessary. Thank you Desiree and Tropical Tanning & Beauty Salon!

It’s taken me a long time to find someone who I’m fully comfortable with cutting and coloring my hair. Most of my salon experiences are mediocre, I leave disappointed and throw my hair in a bun and cry about it. I’ve gotten used to disappointing haircuts, and mediocre talent at high prices. When I book my appointments at tropical tanning salon with Siearra I hang up the phone confident and looking forward to going in. I’m at the point where I could even go in and sit down and just ask her to do what she thinks would good. They have affordable prices, but on top of that they’re always running great deals. Everyone there is very talented, and it’s a pleasant atmosphere.

I’ve been into Tropical salon a couple times now And absolutely love it. The owner is such a friendly, inspirational person. She’s someone you can go into and talk with for hours. Desi is amazing at haircuts and ombrays. She’s done three of my sorority sisters hair now and it’s turned out amazing every time. Hands down best place in town.
