My wife had her nails done at this place. They are crooked, misshapen, bumpy, and of unequal length. She asked the nail tech several times to fix her nails and instead got snarky remarks some another person working there (the owner? This person would not identify themselves or look my wife in the eye). The nails were some of the most expensive ones she’d ever paid for, compared to other salons in the area. So I’m reluctant to give an average review because I know how hard working the owners are and I know how tough it is to make a go of a business. For one, I’ve had nails done here before and they lasted the longest of any dip I’ve had. That’s why I returned and really want to give them a five-star for that day. Today, my nails look really nice but he nipped me (bleeding cuticles) in five different places. For $50 (plus tip!), I expect perfection. I knew my cuticles were tender but I didn’t notice they were bleeding until after I left. I didn’t go back in to complain because I didn’t think it would have resolved anything for me unless they were willing to give me a $25 credit (at the least). I had a feeling we would have both walked away feeling rotten with how that conversation would go. (And I would do dip only – no mani with it next time.) So today’s service is about a 3-star. I haven’t decided if I want to return. The place itself is a new space. Clean & bright. They are more expensive than other places.

This place has delivered the most consistent, beautiful services every time I’ve gone in! The salon is 25 minutes from my house. A nail salon just opened across the street from my apartment and I’ve never even been tempted to try it. I will continue to give my business to the people who work hard and give me exactly what I want (or better) every time I enter their salon. These people work hard and overachieve every time. I’m so thankful for Trendy Nails.
