A few weeks ago, when I first got my most recent set of acrylics here, I would have given 4 or 5 stars. But I went in today to get them removed and left near tears. At every other nail salon I have been to, acrylics have been soaked off gently in acetone, then filed or removed otherwise. Regardless, this process is supposed to be relatively painless if done right. Not here. An unused acrylic was used to pry underneath the fake nail and they were ripped off one by one, damaging layers of my natural nail. On three of my nails, there was significant enough breakage to cause bleeding. One of those nails is split vertically down the center and it is still causing discomfort hours later. I will not be returning – I could have very easily soaked my nails in acetone at home and safely removed them, but felt more comfortable having professionals do it for me, and was more than willing to pay the $15 it took to do so. That’s a mistake I won’t make again.

The nails were very straight and the right size and perfect. As soon as I left I got really itchy, I was itchy for weeks, I got them filled at another nail place I normally go, i was still very itchy, I took the nails off about a week ago and I’m no longer itchy. I’ve never had nails that make me itch. I don’t want to go back and see if it was from whatever they were using.

Critical: CleanlinessI always get my nails done here, they always come out very nicely. I went 2 days ago and got some plain white nails. The worker I had was very nice and polite. Something felt different she painted my nails while still haven’t dust on it. I didn’t say anything cause I thought she was just new. I’m very disappointed my acrylics have bumps and have nail polish on the inside of the nails. I will not continue to come here if this keeps happening. In the pictures I provide you can see my hands are cleaned and wiped. I have provided pictures that have very nice lighting. I always get my nails done here, they always come out very nicely. I went 2 days ago and got some plain white nails. The worker I had was very nice and polite. Something felt different she painted my nails while still haven’t dust on it. I didn’t say anything cause I thought she was just new. One of the worst experiences. Decided to give them another chance, and had an appointment scheduled for 11:00, 12:00 rolls around and still wasn’t seen. They were still taking people who came in after us and who didn’t make appointments and getting them started. So unprofessional.

Very unclean—I asked if the nail clippers were cleaned properly, despite that the nail tech and I both could see they were not. He rinsed them under water and came back and said “clean.” Aesthetic is fine when you walk in making you think it’ll be a nice experience but the longer you sit there, the more grossed out you’ll be from reuse of a sponge on your feet and an old nail file. Sanitation is definitely questionable here. The other totally annoying factor is they have a sign when you walk in that says “cash tips preferred” but then as you’re leaving, they won’t let you add a tip on to a credit card and they make you take cash out of an atm in the back to tip, despite it being a “preference” to tip in cash. I wouldn’t bother coming here unless you’re hoping for fungus or infection.

I came in closer to their closing time and was very welcome. A lady named Betty did my nails. She was absolutely fantastic and was very nice. She did wonderfully on my nails. I know others don’t have the same experiences here, but I would recommend anyone to Betty.
