I made an appointment with tonic about getting a hair color change. They sat up an appointment and I came in and then they told me they didn’t have enough time and someone scheduled it wrong. Then I scheduled another appointment 2 weeks out. The day before my appt she personally texted me about my colors. We got it all set and ready to go for the next day. So the next day came around I get a call from tonic not her saying she had a doctors appt she can’t miss. I’m confused of why would she set this whole thing up and oh by the way have have a doctors appt? Shouldn’t she have known that?

I had my first Brazilian today. Teresa was amazing. She was very nice and talked with me the whole time. I was a little nervous going in, because let’s face it…it hurts, but I will definitely do it again in the future. The salon was clean and had a relaxing environment. Nice staff!!!

Went in for hair dye and highlights. Charged me $472. Did not say anything ahead of time about prices. Said they gave me a hair gloss when I never asked for that. Priced online are nothing like I was charged. Called to talk to them and got hung up on Hairstyling

Emily D. and the entire team at Tonic is amazing. In addition to doing my regular cut and highlights, I chose them to do airbrush makeup and updos for not only me but also my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law for our October 2017 wedding. Everyone looked gorgeous! Emily worked with me as the bride and went above and beyond to make me feel and look like a princess for the biggest day of my life! She outdid my favorite pins on Pinterest and I received so many compliments from our guests. Whatever she did was magic because my hair and makeup still looked flawless at 11pm that night! I highly recommend Emily and the Tonic team!

I was able to get a good haircut. Price was about $8 higher than I usually pay. I lived in Cedar Rapids and I never paid more than $20 and those haircuts were just a good or even better.
