Tommy’s is awesome. The girls are all so polite and professional. I love that Tommy’s has no commitment memberships, no appointments, no wait lines, and their hours cannot be beat. Plenty of tanning beds and they’re all big and roomy even the level 1. I love when they offer free tanning and upgrade weekends, and they offer this benefit even to persons who are not members! Imagine that! No other business has all these perks along with great discounts on their tanning products. They need to bring a tanning salon to Waterbury. Right now I drive to the one in Oxford.

I get a spray tan here all the time and it does not look splotchy or speckled at all. It is a very natural looking tan. The bulbs are always changed on time in the beds and you can get a great tan in a short time. The salon could use a little updating but it is very clean. Their prices are comparable to everyone else. They have a wide range of lotions but don’t expect a break on the price. One bottle will cost around $70. They have recently opened a Wax Bar with a clinician. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m excited they chose our store as one of the first flagships.

I went to this location for waxing. I was referred by a friend to see Emily. She was finally what I was looking for. Knowledgeable about the product she was using, the room was super clean, and followed the health code, which is a big thing for me since I’m in the industry myself for 30 years, And she was down to earth. I called to get my next appointment and they said she was gone. I asked where to ,I thought another location, the girl with an attitude exclaimed she got let go for not cleaning up her room. HA!!! I doubt that. The very reason she was referred to me . Besides the unprofessionalism in concern with how that was handled. Stick to tanning . Esthetics are clearly not your fortē

So unpleased. Walked in at 6:10 (when they close at 7:00pm) and wanted a versa spray tan. There was someone in the booth and someone waiting before me. I was denied because the girl had to “clean the booth” after the girl in front of me…. it takes 10 minutes to get sprayed…… which would have put me in the booth around 6:30/6:35 the latest!! Now I can see the girl that was before me just got out and it’s 6:30. VERY poor customer service.
