Three Jays Barber Shop

Critical: Professionalism, QualityOne of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. The only person there when I went was the senior barber (older gentleman). I asked for a skin fade, leave the top alone. First off, his hands were shaking and he was completely uneven with the sides of my hair, then he waits till mid way through to tell me, he’s not so good at skin fades and that the two younger barbers at the shop were better than him. His exact words were “ya know my generation never asked for that kind of thing so I’m not good at this”. Then he proceeds to tell me that if I were to go back, to never let the female barber (his own coworker) touch my hair and that shes not good. Then he back tracks and says “I shouldn’t have said that”. Long story short, the old gentlemen completely butchered my hair, was no where even close to a skin fade and I literally stormed out. I’m a pretty easy going customer and normally I would leave a generous tip, but my hair was bad to the point where, I would have been thanking him for wasting my money. One of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. The only person there when I went was the senior barber (older gentleman). I asked for a skin fade, leave the top alone. I just moved to the area and I’ve been looking for a new barber. A friend recommended Three Jays, and to ask for Jay. I’ve explained how I wanted my hair cut to dozens of barbers over the years and they NEVER cut it the way I described. He cut my hair EXACTLY the way I asked him too. I will be a returning customer for many years.
