Ken Maxey is your go to guy for any & all questions, if he doesn’t have an immediate answer for you, he’ll leave no stone unturned to research a solution for whatever need you have a question to answer. Definitely an “Old School” practitioner he started when it was referenced titlewise as Tonsorial College Education, while over the years it has been reduced to Barber’s School. The testing processes have been paired down somewhat but he still retain the wisdom & expertise gained from his years if extensive training, application, both as a teacher & a tonsorial expert consultant for customers of all genders & cultures. I have him on a regular schedule as my own Consultant & close friend. He has been a blast from the past when I see him for what I prefer to call the “Gangster” treatment for my Tonsorial needs. Everything from a straight razor shave, face lather with a boar’s bristle brush, hot steamed towel, hair shampoo & massage, all the way through to scented oil to a dedicated restoration project for an older guy’s abused and neglected facial features the leaves me feeling refreshed renewed, ready to take on the challenges of my days. I most definitely recommend what Ken provides at least once each month. He always keeps me feeling well pampered & Tonsorial College Education provided as a regular customer.
