Lovely spa with relaxation rooms indoor and out. Spa garden has two massive hot tubs. I enjoyed all the drinks available as well. Blakey was fantastic! The spa itself is spotless and in great condition.

I had 2 experiences at this salon. My massage was only ok. Not sure if I was truly wanting a massage so that may contribute to not such a good review. His hands were very busy and not relaxing. I like symmetry in my massage and this did not have enough symmetry.

While I was SUPER disappointed that my facial was canceled while we were on our way to the spa, the massage and scrub was wonderful with Oggy. I initially said no to coming back for the facial, but I changed my mind. Everyone was super lovely, except for the girl that initially called me to tell me about the cancellation. I didn’t see her, but she wasn’t very pleasant on the phone initially or when I called back. I would still go back. There were several relaxing areas. I enjoyed being outside and listening to the live music while I relaxed by the spa pool and drank mimosas.

Positive: QualityI was truly blown away by the hospitality and accommodations of this resort/spa! I am in the hospitality industry and it was so refreshing and appreciated. Beautiful place, excellent massage from Oggy!! My girl friend lives in CHS and I will be returning frequently. Thanks for the great experience!

My friend, her mom and I went to The Spa at Sweetgrass as a birthday celebration. We each did 75 minute massages. My friend and I signed up for the sports massage and her mom got the hot stone massage.

This spa is beautiful and very clean. Every staff member was extremely professional and very friendly. I had the best massage of my life from Denise, a salt stone massage. I also had the best most relaxing pedicure from Mary. I highly recommend this spa and hope to come back some day!

We spent over $500 on a 90 minute duo massage. Waste of money. Lets just say that I will stick with Woodhouse Day Spa and the Kiawah Sanctuary spa. I will stick with Woodhouse day spa or Kiawah spa

Critical: Communication, QualityDon’t waste your money here. The spa is very new and beautiful but has a lot of issues they need to work out. I made an appointment several weeks in advance for a duo treatment room so my friend and I could enjoy a 1 hour facial together. Check in was fine, locker room was expansive but found out later it was missing key items like hand towels, facial soap, SPF.I was given an intake form to fill out for the facial by the young gentleman who would be giving my facial. My friend was left wondering what happened to her provider. I was also collected first for the service. I asked but we are supposed to be in the same room? He said well I’ll go check. Then the other provider appeared and we were both escorted to our very separate rooms. The rooms only had a small connecting door that was opened and provided absolutely no interaction or shared experience. First major disappointment. This should have been communicated. On my facial intake form I was asked if I wanted extractions. I answered yes to this but much to my great surprise I wasn’t given any or told I would not be getting them. My friend with the exact same service had extractions. Why would you ignore my intake form? At least my friend had a better experience with her actual service.During the facial the young gentleman really didn’t know what he was doing. He would not properly cleanse my face so the product caked up and he used downward motions- two more major disappointments. This is not how you do a facial! I had large white flakes all over my face, hair & neck when I was done. I had to go to the locker room to wash my face only to discover no face soap or hand towels. So I used only water and paper towels. My skin felt disgusting. So slimy, yuck. The treatment rooms were so hot. It was only a high of 75 that day but my friend and I both sweated through our entire service. I asked to have the heater turned off the bed but it was already so warm it never cooled down. So uncomfortable! He also put a full sized bath towel over my torso for the entire service which didn’t help.I only received steam once and my entire neck, chin and forehead was covered with a hot towel during it. How does this open up my pores when I’m all covered up? Just weird. I’ve had facials at other spas before (Sundara is my favorite) and this place was a joke. My provider belongs back in school, he didn’t know what he was doing. Also don’t let them fool you there isn’t a pool for the spa. They have two small plunge pools which is code for hot tubs. Both are set very warm. This was another disappointment as I’m used to spas of this caliber having several water treatment/ pool options to enjoy after your service.Don’t waste your money here.
