My wife and I were pretty let down by our experience at this spa. The cold plunge is a joke, it’s wasn’t even cold and had a greasy film on the tile inside the tub. Our massages were just sub par and the staff at the front desk were kind of rude. The pool area was nice, pizza was great and the game room is fun but for the spa itself I would not recommend

Ellen and her team were able to get us in that day and made our day special. She also noticed my friend had altitude sickness and made it a point to get her electrolyte drops. She started to feel better within 15 minutes. That one action saved our day!While sitting poolside I noticed Ellen also pour the water from a left behind water bottle into the plants and it just made my heart happy! Ohmygoodness! The Spa at Stein Eriksen is so totally my happy place! I have been coming here for years, and it is always a wonderful experience. The service is impeccable. The staff is consistently gracious and warm, from the valet, to the concierge, to the servers, and aestheticians and massage therapists. Give yourself lots of time – before and after your treatment(s) – to enjoy the other amenities – hot tub, sauna, steam room, relaxation room, and pool. The women’s locker room is large with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the hot tub, sauna, and steam room. In the summertime, enjoy lunch by the pool ( the garlic parmesan fries are the best!) and a cocktail. The Spa at Stein’s is the perfect place to pamper yourself and unplug.

We scheduled a couple’s 50-minute massage that cost $480 with the tip they add automatically. First, the co-ed “relaxation” area where you await your therapists is a joke. There were skiers tromping through, staff chatting and walking through constantly and people using their cell phones. We were waiting in our robes ten minutes before the scheduled massage time, as instructed. Seven minutes past the time the massage was to have begun, we went to the front desk and the staff went into a panic searching for our therapists who eventually picked us up10 minutes past the scheduled start time. We were then led to the room, told to lie down on the tables which took seconds and the therapists then spent another 5 minutes chatting outside the room while we waited. The massage lasted 30 -35 minutes and was mediocre. After, we were rushed out of the room with the therapists standing holding two glasses of water in plastic cups and told for the first time that, if we had paid extra, we could have had a glass of champagne. Hardly worth the time or money!
