I highly recommended this salon whenever I get the chance! I see Ashleigh G and she is the best. She listens to my vision, provides feedback, and then makes sure I’m okay with decisions being made (for my hair, texture, lifestyle, etc) before going forward with them. Her consultation is perfect which produces amazing results! The salon itself is pristine and they have snacks, water, and coffee complete with a little bar. The price is definitely on par with other high end salons in the area and in a firm believer in “you get what you pay for”! Totally worth it. Ashleigh is doing my hair and make up for my upcoming wedding and I couldn’t be happier. I added a photo of my hair and my color which is 7 WEEKS OLD! no glaze, no toner, no purple shampoo

I’ve been seeing Ashleigh G at this salon for a few years now and she did my wedding hair and make up as well! The salon is so cute and they offer snacks and drinks during your service! I’ve never been disappointed by a cut or color when I used to color my hair! Definitely recommend any of the ladies at this salon!

The Salon is very welcoming and I am instantly greeted by smiling women who LOVE what they do. The salon is itself is super chic. The stylist a who does my hair takes her time and listens to what I want. I never leave disappointed. Rachael has a one of a kind personality and I feel at my most beautiful when I’m in her chair. She will brighten your day & you won’t be disappointed with your hair! The Syracuse Inner Harbor location is convenient and the off street parking is a major bonus. I love this salon. Easy access and warm comfortable salon. Immaculate! The minute you walk in the door you are greeted with smiling people. Rachael does my hair and has been for almost two years. It’s beautiful now. I would follow her anywhere. We can always talk and laugh. It’s a great feeling. I will never leave Rachael. Everyone compliments me on my hair. It took a long time to get my hair to where it is now. She explained everything right up front about my hair and what we could do and couldn’t do with it. I’ve grown it out and now it’s highlighted and low lights. I would recommend her and the salon to anyone and I always do. I feel vibrant when I leave and I’m not a young chick anymore. But, it’s all in your outlook. Take care of myself and the world is my oyster, and Rachael is in the oyster with her positivity.

I am delighted with the service I receive at CNY Facecandy. The “artist” who does my hair is Rae. She is very good at figuring out what I want and suggesting what will work and what might not. Never disappointed. She is talented and joyful about her work. The salon itself is lovely and welcoming–nicely decorated with high-end amenities. Five Stars!

I found Tabetha on Instagram and she referred me to a few of the girls who worked for her. After looking up the prices, I just assumed that I’d be blown away by any of her girls (they’re pretty expensive). So I chose which girl I wanted to work with, we got in touch – I gave her the history of my hair (I had only one balayage on my perviously virgin hair that was way grown out by a year+) and my inspiration picture. I asked her if my goal was achievable and she assured me that it absolutely was. After paying $260, I left the salon very underwhelmed with just a subtle refresh of what I already had (not what I asked for). I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe we just have to bleach my hair one more time to get my hair as light as I want it. So I went back with an even lighter inspiration picture (maybe she’ll get the point now) spent another $260 and left the salon as a brunette…yet again. So at this point, I has to express my disappointment. She was very sweet, understanding and kind – offered to bleach it again at a discounted rate. Against my better judgement, I went back. Well, this time I left the salon with patchy orange/yellow hair. Obviously the toner wasn’t on my hair long enough or my hair wasn’t light enough to be toned to the color that we wanted (I simply don’t know). But worse than that, the left side of my hair is pure white and feels like cotton – just the left side though so I literally look like a half moon cookie! She put me under the lamp while the bleach processed so maybe the bulb on that side was too close to my head? Idk. So at the point…I’m out of $650+ and more unhappy now than I was before I ever started going to this salon. The girl is very very sweet, so I don’t want to bash her by any means but the funniest part is that all three times (even the last time when I looked AWFUL) all of the other colorists said to me “oh honey, it looks so good” as I walked out – liesssss.

First of all I was in contact with an employee from here for over a month about a certain look I wanted she assured me they could do it when I went to get it done the outcome was not nearly close to what I wanted and they assured they could do, I paid 240 for a look I was NOT happy with at all. Then I contacted the owner to let her know I was unhappy and she proceeded to tell me the look couldn’t be achieved because of my ETHNICITY! If this is a “professional” salón then you would expect they work with every type of hair and ethnicity. I’m highly upset with her very unprofessional response. If your hair doesn’t go accordingly to their “standard” then it’s a waste of time and money your ethnicity might be a problem for them. It’s not about the money it’s about the outcome because I would have gladly paid the amount I paid if I loved the outcome but I was not happy at all! I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! The only reason I gave it one star was so that I could leave a review
