Critical: Quality, ValueIt was my first time booking an appointment at this location for a Brazilian Wax.I did like how they had an open availability. I made my appointment 30 mins prior. I was told to come in 5 minites before my scheduled appointment to fill out a form that would make my waxing experience better. The form dealt with allergies and medical info they would need to know.The location is very close to me and had not trouble getting to it or finding the building. Inside it was clean, and although it was very nicely decorated and had a receptionist in the front it was not a welcoming environement. I was ‘greeted’ but nothing special, hardly any eye contact.I have waxed for 3 years and this had been the most time I have gone without waxing. I have average hair, but irregular growth (which has never been a problem in other places I have gone to).I want to thank Brook for being so sweet and helpful, but the overall experience was painful and unplesant.The wax was colder than other temperatures I have experienced. This was my first time using wax strips which I was surprised as I was expecting hard wax (my mistake, for not researching prior). I was forwarned that hair at the surface would not come off as it was short, but it was MORE than I expected and the lips/lower area were extremely painful and the hair did NOT come off.I went in with a 25% off coupon so instead of paying $60 I payed $45, but for the result, I think I was overcharged and felt that I should have had a lower or no payment at all. It’s as if, I left with a little less than I came in.I’m not one to complain, but I just want to advise others to do you research because I came to this location because it was recommended to me and the availability worked for me.I think the wax does not compare to other places I have gone to, where it is better quality and leaves great results despite thickness and irregularity of hair growth.It was my first time booking an appointment at this location for a Brazilian Wax. …More
