So I have used this salon A LOT! They continue to do a great job. I wanted the glazed donut and asked to do it with a different base color because I wanted a little more “pink” than Funny Bunny. This is OPI Love is in the Bare with the chrome powder over it. It looks sooooo great – they are flawless! I wish I had a “before” photo. My nails were in terrible shape from gardening, home improving/painting, etc. This is a 180 degree turn around from earlier today!!! Had to update my review for several years ago!!

I’ve had a hard time finding a great nail place since relocating to the Chattanooga area. I saw great reviews on the nail bar and booked an appointment for a dip manicure. I drove 40 minutes out of my way to go see them and was less than impressed. The salon was in disarray I believe they are going through renovations. It took my tech 10 minutes to find the gel that I wanted. He asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and I explained I wanted them all even as I had some nails shorter due to breakage. He trimmed about two nails and proceeded with the dip. After making 3 of my fingers bleed at the cuticles. My nails are uneven and several are bloody at the cuticle after severe filing. I will not go back here.

I got my acrylic nails removed here and my natural nails were left far more damaged then I expected. I got them soaked off and I think I was left soaking too long. Then I had some gel polish applied to strengthen my nails. They were nice about fitting this in even though I hadn’t scheduled it in the appointment. While the application was fine, the color was visibly very different from the color I picked on the swatch. I was told it would change in a few days when I showed the nail tech but that was almost a week ago and it looks the same as when she put it on. I’m very disappointed and I think the lady just didn’t want to redo the my nails.

Highly recommended. Nail techs are ALL friendly, accomodating, do a fabulous job, and their fun banter keeps a grin on the faces of all their customers! I have been coming for 2 years and still look forward to every appointment!

Tried this location several times last year & stopped going due to poor quality. FYI: acetone & paintbrush should be an exception, not standard practice. Tried twice this year as is convenient for living on the Mtn, and quality was a bit better. However this is still the most unprofessional location. Hours of business are never posted or consistent. “Walk-ins Welcome” are not actually welcome. My last visit: an employee, while getting her nails done by another employee, tells me they’re kinda busy today and we’re going to close early so try back another day… 100% will never try again.

My 15 year old had a 4 pm appt for a manicure yesterday for prom. They never took her back and ignored her. Girls came in after her with later appt tunes and were seen right away. No manicure and no apology. Terrible service. I will continue to drive to north shore to that nail bar.

I wear boots for 12-15 hours a day and by the end of the day, when it’s time to go home, I’ll be the first to admit to having swamp feet. My feet have it really bad because I also enjoy hiking barefoot, which is why I stopped by The Nail Bar. The lovely miss Gina sent my feet to a spa heaven. She smoothed out all the rough edges so I could have feet a soft as a baby’s bottom. She also ended the pedi with an amazing foot massage with Green Tea essential oils. After running around all day on your feet, sometimes you just have to #TreatYoself
