Earlier this week, our daughter came home with lice from school. This was our first experience with lice at home! We were of course freaking out, googling different information, googling different people who could help, and were referred by friends to the Lice Lady of Westchester! We cancelled out other appointment and went with them. We called them in the evening and they got us in for an appointment at 8am the next morning! We brought our whole family of 5 (including 3 girls with long hair) to get checked out.

My daughter complained of itching as I was getting her ready for school. I checked her head several minutes but had a hard time spotting anything as her hair is so light. Eventually I got one and immediately called this place. I didn’t expect anyone to pick up at 7 am but she did. And we had an appointment by 8:30. MaryAnn was so patient with my daughter as her hair is very fine. She showed me what you look for and how to perform checks and treatment on my own. Very educational.

While I didn’t go to the lice lady, I called her tonight at 10:00 PM, because one of the girls I babysit for had a nit, and I was worried. She was extremely calming and advised me on what to do and made me feel so much better! I really appreciated the fact that not only was she accessible at a late hour, but she advised me what to do in the situation even though it was of no monetary gain to her. There are few people like this left!
