I was a first time customer at the gold room. I came in for what was my first silk press in 5 years. Let me start this off by saying the stylist did a great job at executing the silk press. However, as discussed multiple times throughout my appointment; I primarily wear my hair naturally curly. After my hair was blow dried, the stylist “ trimmed” my hair without first asking for consent. This is typical practice for those who do not wear or get their hair cut curly. What is a simple trim to others severely damages and changes the shape of a curly cut. I post this for the stylist to change this practice of cutting without consent and for future natural clients to speak up at the beginning of the appointment. The pictures attached are from 3 weeks prior to my silk press and now one week post. As you can see the shape is lost and missing an entire section at the front.
