I upgraded from 1 to 2 stars because the staff was all really friendly and the salon was clean/taking covid safety measures. I booked an appointment with Gina because of all the great reviews online. I was really excited to find someone that the vast majority of clients seemed to trust. However, my haircut is truly, truly awful. The layer are chunky and uneven, the shape makes no sense, and the result is pretty far from what I asked for. I felt like I sat down and Gina just started chopping. I should have spoken up sooner, but I’ve never had my hair dry cut before and I didn’t recognize the technique. I’ll have to pay to get it fixed (as much as possible) and live with bad hair staring back at me in the mirror for 6 months while my unblended, unbalanced layers grow out.

I’m usually very happy with my cut when I go here, but I haven’t been able to get an appointment with Ty, my usual stylist recently. My stylist today didn’t even really ask me what I wanted done before she started cutting away, and by the time I realized how short she was going, it was too late. I’ve gone from loving my hair to wanting to either shave what’s left off completely or wear a beanie for the next month while it grows out again. Great studio atmosphere and nice staff, appreciate the covid precautions, but I’m currently embarrassed to go out in public with my hair like this.

I’m so glad I found this great little salon after moving to Tucson in 2019! I fully support this locally-owned business, and they have been consistently professional providing safe practices since COVID started. I just got my haircut by Gina and I absolutely love it! I was seeing Ty before she moved and she was great too! I highly recommend this salon – you’ll be well taken care of by the friendly and talented staff!

Gina is always so accommodating, friendly, helpful, and talented when it comes to my long, thick, wavy hair! I’ll never go anywhere else again! I showed up with a terribly botched multicolor head of hair with brown, bleached, lavender, pink and green sections. I said I wanted to go GOLD! And voila! Gina actually listened to me, and did what I asked for. As a result, I am so in love with my hair color! I’ve had cuts and color done here before and always love the result. I’ll never make the mistake of going anywhere else again!
