Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue Massage is great for those of us who have muscle tension. The name can be a bit intimidating, so just remember “deep” does not mean “pain”.
Guided Meditation
Meditation is an ancient practice with countless benefits. In our modern world we get so caught up in our go-go-go lifestyle, many of us find it difficult to slow down, or sleep. The consequences of this can be anywhere from constant irritability, to being unable to focus, to illness of the body, mind and spirit. Thankfully, meditation is proven to help, and is easy and fun to learn. We offer a couple ways to build your own practice. Guided meditation is one of the two, and is implemented during the massage session. You will be guided through a meditation focusing on your individual needs, while being massaged. The two compliment each other very well, and can help you find the peace you need in life.
Healing Touch
A modern take on energy therapy, Healing Touch is a practice with which therapists consciously use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Healing Touch works with the subtle forces in and around all of us. Energy therapy utilizes both hands-on and hands-off techniques, so it is perfect for those of us sensitive or unable to be touched.
Low-Income Discount
We at Massage In Harmony want everyone to experience the healing benefits of massage and bodywork. If you feel you can’t afford our prices, contact us and let’s talk. We want to work with you so you can relax and heal, because everyone deserves to feel good.
Lymph Massage
The lymph system consists of vessels and nodes, through which lymph enters and exits tissue and blood. Lymph is a milky substance made up of white blood cells, and acts like a waste disposal system. The issue with the lymphatic system is unlike the circulatory system which which gets pumped and moved through the body via the heart, lymph only gets moved by the muscles, so those of us who do not get enough exercise have lymph just sit there without getting pumped, and whatever waste it is carrying sits as well. This can be hazardous, and luckily there is a type of massage to help! Lymph Massage focuses on moving lymph, manually pumping it and spreading it through the body. Very helpful for those with weak immune systems or lymphedema.
Massage
All Massage modalities are $35 for 30 minutes, $55 an hour, $75 for 90 minutes and $90 for 2 hours. You can freely mix and match with no change to the price (I.e. an hour of Swedish with Reflexology would still be $55).
One-On-One Meditation Class
Research shows that building a regular meditation practice reduces stress, anxiety and depression, improves focus, helps fight addiction, improves sleep, helps control pain, can decrease blood pressure, enhances self awareness, lengthens attention span, may reduce age-related memory loss, promotes emotional health, and generates kindness, among many other benefits. A Harvard study compared the brains of people who practiced mindful meditation for at least 30 minutes a day to those who did not for 8 weeks. The students who meditated had increased grey matter in the hippocampus, which is the part of the brain that plays a big role in memory and learning. We offer one-on-one meditation to help you progress in your own meditation practice. Schedule an appointment today!
Orthopedic
Orthopedic Massage focuses on knots and tension in ligaments, tendons and muscle. This is especially useful for those of us with chronic pain, or injuries that have healed but are still stiff and/or painful.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a method which uses points on the feet called “reflexes” to affect different areas of the body in a positive, healing way. For example, if you have a headache, we can work your toe to relieve the pain in your head. Especially great for areas that massage can not get to, like the internal organs.
Soft Tissue Manipulation
A Massage in Harmony original! STM is a mix of Acupressure, Myofascial and Trigger Point Therapy. Deep but not painful, this style is about loosening tension, relieving soreness and pain, and releasing knots.
Swedish
The most common massage given today, the Swedish Massage is a combination of relaxation and stretches, but any stretching is entirely optional and at no extra cost.

Parson is phenomenal. He is very calm toned, professional and passionate about massage therapy. The ambiance is peaceful and you feel at ease. He asks you personally what areas you want to focus on and takes his time to work those areas to ensure you have a pleasant visit. This was my second visit and I plan to continue to use Parson as my massage therapist. Reasonable prices and plans. I leave feeling refreshed and healed. I highly recommend Parson and Massage in Harmony.

Parson was absolutely amazing! He asked about what was bothering me so he could focus on those areas more. During the massage he hit pressure points no other therapist have ever touched. This is hands down the best massage I have ever had. Also, the ambiance was perfect and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.

Parson is an amazing massage therapist! He is professional, very friendly and kind, and his techniques are sensational! I have been receiving massage from Parson for almost 2 years now and he has helped me in so many ways. I suffer from chronic back pain and since I began seeing him, I am able to get through my days with ease. He finds problem areas that I didn’t even know I had! I always feel refreshed when I leave. He does great guided meditaions and energy work that really takes my sessions to the next level. He has shown me some east techniques to do between sessions to help keep our progress rising. I highly recommend Massage In Harmony to anyone with daily pain or anyone who just need a a release from everyday life!
