It was disappointing that the staff before hand told me that they could dye my hair bright orange, only to come in for a consultation and then tell me that they couldn’t do it. To be fair I wasn’t disappointed in that aspect even though my time was wasted and they could’ve easily told me that via the phone. What was the worst thing that occurred was what the staff messaged to me later that day. They told me ,and I’m paraphrasing ” you should just go to target and buy an artificial dye so u don’t damage your hair .” I find it very disrespectful that the staffed assumes that I don’t know how bleaching works or how it damages the hair. If I knew that do you think I would even try asking for you to bleach it? I just wanted my hair dyed I didn’t ask for you to tell me how to do it on my own , that’s why I consulted this business to help me do just that. In short you’re saying that I’m not informed enough to know what I want even though it’s my hair and I understand that to some the color may not suit their taste. It feels humiliating to be told by a business that the service you want and are willing to pay for just isn’t for you. And that you should try an option that isn’t anything close to the thing you want. It’s like saying that you should never wear blue just because someone else thinks it’s odd, and thus giving you an alternative that you’re not satisfied with. I would’ve been ok with them saying just no, but the fact that they said go to target? Really it’s almost like they’re saying I can’t afford it. Anyways I won’t be coming to this business and I don’t think anyone should if you want bright hair.

Favorite salon!! To start: Tom and his entire staff are welcoming and so friendly. You can tell everyone loves what they do and has a true passion for hair. They are professional, keep up with trends, and provide an overall enjoyable experience. Donna has been doing my hair for years, and on top of receiving many compliments from friends, family, even strangers, I am always thrilled with how my hair turns out (cut and balayage coloring). Great people, great salon, fabulous hair!

I have been a client for approx 3 years. I was previously contented with my stylist but always felt that my color faded to orange after 3 weeks. Someone suggested Tei Salon. My stylist, Donna, is master-class! I knew I was in good hands when she modestly told me that she also instructs for Loreal. My color holds true, always accented with soft balayage, but only when needed. She’s meticulous about the cut – always modern. If for some reason I can’t get into Donna because I waited until the last minute, I am welcomed by the other stylists and leave equally happy. Kudos to Tom for having such a fun, professional, high-quality staff. Love this place!
