Caitlin at Tangerine is my hair hero!!! I first went to see her after moving back to the area and trying to get back to something more similar to my natural color. She has been incredible at listening to what I want while guiding me towards the best possible colors and changes. I’m pretty sure the photo speaks for itself, but I have absolutely loved every visit! The salon itself is always clean, running on right on time and everyone makes me feel so welcome.

Amazing!! I love having my hair done here, my third time having my hair coloured and styled by Will, every time we try something a little bit different to bring some variety, and every time I’m super impressed, I’m daring to ask for brighter every time! Critical: QualityI have debated leaving a negative review for almost a week now, and I’ve been trying to just “be okay” with the results of my hair appointment. Honestly, I’m bummed and I spent a lot of money on this, so I thought I’d share my experience.To begin, I booked a balayage and haircut with one of Tangerine Salon’s “Master II” level stylists. I’ve never booked a “Master” before, but I had high hopes that they would exceed my expectations and make my hair better than ever before! The personality of my stylist was fine, and we had good conversation. The results of my hair is what I am unhappy with. I was hoping to go much lighter than what I got. I even showed images before the stylist mixed color, and she said she could do that. I know these photos don’t do the “mess up” justice, but there is a clear error with the coloring right on the piece that frames my face. It looks as though the foil was resting on my scalp in that area (which it was). Now I feel self conscious whenever I put my hair up, and I’m constantly trying to push my other hair over this error because I don’t like it. Secondly, I asked to get my hair cut straight across, and one side is shorter than the other! I included an image, but that’s another big bummer! The salon was very clean and welcoming. The people working there were also very welcoming and kind. The results of this appointment is what has me feeling disappointed. I paid over $300, and wish I wouldn’t have gone. I’m nervous to go in and complain, and I feel embarrassed. I don’t want to feel dumb for going in and getting this “fixed”, so I’m just living with the hair I have, but I wanted to leave a review. Caitlin Kelly has been my hair colorist for almost a year I would say and I really trust her with my hair , she always meets my expectations! I was hesitant on going blonde without getting it to damaged since my natural hair is a dark brown mixed with a black shade & the results turned out amazing! She kept my hair healthy & the blonde came out really beautiful. I would highly recommend her, plus she has a lovely personality!

Katie O is the absolute best stylist I have been to. I have tried several Tangerine stylists at the Dallas location and Coppell. I decided to try Katie, she is a Master 1 stylist. Katie did not disappoint! She is super sweet and took the time to talk with me and explain options about going from dark to beige blonde. She thought the entire process through. The results are amazing. This is the first time I have been 100% satisfied with my highlights, lowlights, and cut. Katie is super sweet and fun to talk to which is a bonus! She also trimmed my little girls hair and did amazing and was so sweet with her! I can’t wait to go back to Katie!!! I added a photo of Katie and my daughter!

They contacted me right away and worked with me to find a good time (I work a graveyard shift) a great stylist to take care of me. I knew I was going to like Annie in the first 5 minutes of talking to her. Everyone was great honestly. I’m super happy with my cut, I went shorter because I knew she’d take care of me. This place was so great! Very clean and a great little district. Karen who did my hair was amazing and so sweet. She did my hair the way I wanted and also offered her professional advice which came out great! The atmosphere was nice, however I wish the front desk greeted me and offered me beverages like they did to the other customer that came in, but I understand it was a busy time. Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely go again for my haircuts.
