Both the stylist (Selena) and receptionist (Tiffany, I believe) were very professional and personal. Tiffany sat and talked with me while I waited since I arrived early. Selena helped me figure out that after all these years, I just needed some face-framing bangs/layers to feel happier with my natural hair (I didn’t know what they were before). There is also a nice drink bar to enjoy while you wait. 🙂

When you find your stylist, the one who listens to you and gives you the hair that you imagined you could have, then you have to stick with them. I’ve seen sooo many stylists who don’t listen to what i want, who think they know my hair better than me, who don’t want to do a cut or style that isn’t the latest and greatest fashion. The reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of those people have worked at Sydney’s. I’ve found one woman there who is my go-to for blowouts. I won’t give you her name because this is a public site and I don’t want everyone booking her up where I can’t get in to see her. But you should definitely give them a try. You might love the “do” you get from one of the people I didn’t like – we all have different hair and different likes so you wont find your person until you try. It is one of those small pleasures to visit Sydney’s after a work day for a little special pampering.
