I recently moved to Scappoose and was looking for a local tanning salon. When reading the reviews for sunsation I wasn’t impressed and decided to look elsewhere. After speaking with a couple people who go to sunsation, I thought I’d give them a try.. and I’m glad I did. The salon is under new management, they have great beds, it’s cute, clean and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend giving them a shot despite previous reviews.. Looks like a change in ownership and location was all that was needed!

No appointment necessary! Previous owner was fabulous and new owner has followed in her footsteps. Super fun and unique variety of gifts. If you like light therapy, they are hands down the best in Columbia county ❤️

I 100% agree with what Ashley H. said. I also never leave bad reviews but this was too coincidental. She was right on the money. I called a few months back and didn’t like how they spoke to me, so I went to St Helens Tanning. I called again today because I just wanted to ask their opinion of lotions and maybe price compare. Right off the bat I could tell she was going to be completely rude and she was. I asked if they had a good amount of lotions, she scoffed again and said “No, but we’re expecting a shipment soon”. I said, “can you recommended any good lotions?”. She scoffed again and said “ Uuh, no. I kinda need to see you and talk to you to even know what you want”. WOW. I said “okay” and hung up. That is such horrible customer service, I have no idea how they’re still in business. I’ve never set foot in this place and I never will. Best place in town? Only place in town. It’s totally worth it to drive 12 min to St. Helens than deal with rude people.
