Critical: Quality, ValueVery disappointing . The nail tech was friendly but the result was horrible . My husband took my daughter to get her nails done and the next day it already clipped and peeled . One of her acrylic was crooked. My daughter told the tech and she tried filing it down before sending her on her way . The paint and the acrylic was messy . Never again . $75 dollars plus tip . What a disappointment and they did nothing to fix the problem . I wished the picture did justice but was unable to take good photos .Service: ManicureVery disappointing . Positive: QualityThis store has been my go-to nail salon for the 30+ years they have been in business on McLean Ave. The owners know many of their customers by name and their service is very kind. Quality nails for affordable price and a warm, friendly vibe in one appointment. Highly recommend!

Positive: Cleanliness, ValueWent here once a while back, an older woman did my nails (don’t recall her name) I asked for a gel manicure and she did a fine job. The price is very reasonable and they lasted me about 3 weeks. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely stop by here again.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI got a gift certificate for this “spa” and went here for a full set of gel nails done For a wedding I was attending later that day. This is the first time i had ever been here. I explained I wanted a full gel set. I was confused as the older lady began because I have never had someone not use a glue on tip extension first. I thought it was weird but I was okay with it since I assumed she knew what she was doing. The gel was put on very thick and bumpy, she didn’t know how to work the uv light, which I showed her, and it looked like a bubble sticking up off my nails when it was finished. I was not happy and asked for it to be filed down to look flat like a real nail and was told it couldn’t be done until I came back for a fill. There were people waiting and I didn’t have time to argue so I said okay because I just wanted to leave. I presented my gift certificate which was for $45 dollars and The owner and the lady who did my nails walked away with the certificate to the front counter and whispered for a few minutes. While they were talking, The owner removed the price list from the front counter and turn it backward up against the wall. While this was going on, I watched a woman leave the pedicure tub and move to a nail station and another woman sit at the same pedicure tub without it being washed out or cleaned in between. When the lady who did my nails returned, she said “gift certificate okay but you pay another $45.” I asked why and that I thought a set of uv gel nails was $65? she spoke to the owner in Korean who then responded in to me in English “$95 dollar”! I was shocked. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I PAID $95 for this service anywhere!! I was super upset and asked why the price was changed? The owner said “no Change!” I asked the woman next to me who had just had the same thing done(correctly with tips) if she paid $95 and she shook her head no. I showed the owner my nails and asked if they looked right to her and she just said “pretty”! I asked for them to be redone and she said They had no more time. I was so upset and just handed over my credit card and said that I would pay what she asked but would not be back and would be reporting them. She ran my card and then actually asked if I wanted to make my next appointment. I tried this place for convenience since it’s super close to my home but then I ended up liking it. Only one time I expirienced a wait of about 15mins other than that time they always managed to take me right away. I’ve only done regular manicure and pedicure, I’ve never done gel or other stuff to my nails with them yet but for what I’ve gone there I will say they have a good selection of colors and overall a good experience. I will recommended.

SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO ELSEWHERE! Been there about 3 times. 1st time: for gel tips (only my second time getting tips). They looked horrible! Bumpy and misshaped nail bed, messy paint job. Lady rushed to get done with me and get to person who came in after me. I guess the other lady had a history of great tipping because I was dropped like a bad habit. 2nd time: to fix gel tips because they were that bad. Sunny addressed it herself. Made them look better and Elice polished them. It looked presentable, finally. Fixed for free. 3rd: asked to take off gel polish that I had done elsewhere. Sunny helped me, well not really. There’s still gel polish on my nails!!!

Messy gel manicure. Told the older woman doing my nails that I wanted glitter added, she told me no and that it would look bad on my nails. What? I’m paying for the service. Never going back.
